    Nice

Thank you! All four ground floor corridors are done now, just in the process of designing the corners for them... I've came up with this so far:

It's still incomplete but what do you guys think?

Also, how do you put spoilers on your posts? This thread is becoming quite picture heavy...

Don't attempt it legit... it would take you over 32 years continuous play if you were to lay one brick a second haha.

What do you think to this design for the corridors? I'm not sure... Left or right? Or completely new design altogether?

I mean the colour scheme by the way...

Look up Imperial Avenger 9.0.8 SPEW on yout tube you'l find a good tutorial, thought the back part is outdated since the appearence of repeaters. I will tyr to find one of my cannons and take a screenie. (All credits to my redstone genius friend bc_swat1)

That does sound awesome actually, will have a look at that close to the end when I figure out how the outside of the castle is going to look...

The main walls, floors and ceilings are all done now, this is what it is looking like at present:

It's a stone brick mess at the moment I know(around 30 hours played and 109007 bricks laid) but it will look so much different once it's done :smile.gif:

If you're wondering what the hole in the middle is going to be it's a walled garden too, every castle deserves a garden!

There you see what you´ve started^^
    Believe me,
The biggest problem is always how to fill those castles...
Well, something that always helps me at continueing my buildings is to get everything a background...
For example, in my lighthouse, a old man is living, although he is living alone, every evening he is playing a disk...

Haha I really do need to think of a back story :smile.gif:

Thanks... I'm almost spending as much time on this as my actual job :biggrin.gif:

Thanks folks. I would quote you in my reply but as I'm using my phone at the moment I'm not even going to try! To answer your questions though no I am not using any other software than what come with the game, and yes my fingers have frozen up on more than one occasion... this floor filling is so repetitive! Also nope I'm gonna go it alone on this one to make the bet fair and square although my girlfriend helped me fill in about fifty blocks or so yesterday :biggrin.gif: Also that's the only way I thought of doing it to be honest... wanted it all symmetrical and because I'm reasonably new to the game if I went any other way about it then it would probably all go wrong :smile.gif:
Once again thanks for the input!

88362 stone bricks used so far. Just filling in the floors at the present so won't post a picture as nothing much has changed from the outside looking in. Will probably post an update when I have hit a hundred thousand, which I am certain to hit soon enough. Then I will be mapping out the rooms, doing the outside once I know where the windows are going to be. After that I will start filling in the rooms and once that is done, shall be doing the outside of the castle :biggrin.gif:. Going well so far, but this floor making is driving me crazy!

I would also add details farther on with your work, on the outside, for example some mossy cobble here and there, maybe a trap door over an entrance too, if you can do redstone add maybe some cannons, kind of look through the stuff in Creative inventory and try little details out :smile.gif:
    very good this far!

I intend to do some more work on the outside once I have fully laid out the 'map' for my castle inside and out. Hence these dreadful walls seen all the way around the building that I have been working away on for the last few hours:

Same goes for the doors (door holes) - they're to be completed later too...

With regards to cannons etc. I need to learn more about redstone before I do that, although I intend to add some when I learn more :smile.gif:

P.S I never even thought of cannons, and they would make it so much better!

It's progressing nicely. I like it.
Maybe add smaller towers? And windows maybe add some castle colours using some wool?
Can't wait to see more pictures.

You know, I never thought of using wool for anything other than the interior... good idea! Also yes I will be doing some smaller towers also. Thanks for the advice.
