i uninstalled it and reopened minecraft and re-installed my texture pack and it still isnt fixed

how do i uninstall?

could i copy my .jar and use it?

i have to reinstall Minecraft?

I know they don't work in MCEdit the problem is in Minecraft the custom water and lava textures don't work

I had Dokucraft installed with Optifine. I closed Minecraft and went into MCEdit and I got the "noob, use the patcher" text for the lava. When I finished up in MCEdit I closed it went back into Minecraft and the water and lava had the default textures. Every texture pack I have installed or used has had the default water and lava textures and I don't know how to fix it. It's getting kind of annoying. Someone please help me.
