To everyone griping about the previous snapshot's 3d Modeled doors, please cool yourselves... It's still available you just have to do a little work yourselves. Just get the 14w32d snapshot and put the blockstates and textures from that and put them into a resource pack.
I for one didn't care for the forced method of the holes in the doors. This change will help those who are wanting to simply texture the doors without having to map them to the previous models... I sure don't I have my own crazy designs I'm implementing.
Have a good day.

Jul 3, 2014thecrazydudesrd posted a message on The New Minecraft Forum is Now Live! There was something someone else had noticed that there is a character limit on posts... something like 75,000 Could we get that boosted a bit. There's many of us (not me per se) that make massive posts for tutorials and guide, like the 'All Inclusive Guide for Texturing,' as an example. If I had the moment for it I would site others...Posted in: News
Hope that helps others on the forums. -

Feb 7, 2014thecrazydudesrd posted a message on Snapshot 14w06b Ready for Testing! So (hopefully) mobs are more intelligent, more adventure and command block capacity, a ton of bugfixes, and they're not really releasing too many new textures so I can actually catch up quicker. Man 1.8 sounds like it might actually turn up better than 1.7. (sorry the 1.7 texture bugs had gotten me rather fumed... still getting things fixed from all the renderPass layering issues)Posted in: News

Nahp... Ultrahardcore Mode.
Hopefully they give us artists about a good month prior to 1.6 to get things ready... (I hope I can still pull off Backwards Compatibility without having to have multiple downloads...) -

I would like to ask though that if possible that there would be some sort of option to instead of a premium membership, perhaps a bit of coin through advertising revenues such as say 1000 dls = $X
I honestly do see this as Curse's attempt at doing something nice for the community. -

The yellow against the white for the 'crafting bench' portion is a bit too bright... maybe add in some of that Ochre from the character window to break it up a bit?

Tech, Meeps, *standing ovation*
It's actually really fun to watch the process, I would hope more of you archive your streams... Might get into streaming drawings myself...

The custom colormap in the pack you're using probably doesn't have the sections used in it for Thaumcraft edited to have proper colors, most likely an initial bucketfill to get a 'base' color to work from was used on the full canvas.
Your only hope on this is to find the sections of the colormap that are used in those biomes and then edit the map yourself to have the flavors that you desire.

Yeah, but Trimage didn't seem to work for me, always crashed out... (could have been just that version with whatever updates to this version of ubuntu but however, I've not tried again recently myself.)

They listen... it just doesn't get heard though... But, it's most definitely how I feel a lot of times with this developer...

Now if more pvp'ers felt the way you did... this world would be an iota of a better place

If I was running windows I'd be happy to try this program, but I'm unsure if it's WINE compatible.

Al, I think I might be reading that the whole pack itself would be done by the hired artist/s and that the GUI would have some custom color-schemes per individual using it... I could be wrong and it would be up to OP to clarify.

I would like that personally, maybe make a sub-wiki (is that even a thing?) that entails all things involving modifying minecraft so Modders and Artists can come together?

Hi Siiki, it's great to see your awesome pixelations again.

Maximux, if anything I'd suggest keeping with the layering effect you have going on with the side grass and try to translate that to the top. Your vectorized faithful is looking very nice, I really like that sidegrass effect!
Meesta, a gratuitous improvement, however when (and if) mojang adds modeling of Mobs, you're gonna have to make them kick rather than punch... them abdominals got a '300' level of chisel going on, lol (just kidding around you don't have to unless you want to)

Nice model work there, keep it up!
Also redid the health bar...
