    I'm staying out of the war that seems to be going on right now between EE2 fans vs EE3 fans. I honestly don't understand half of the reasons for it anyway.

    I have no idea what is planned for EE3, or what, if anything, will replace condensers and the EMC system. It's all months off at least anyway.


    In the meantime, is there any possibility of somehow making EE2 1.4.6 compatible as well?

    I work on a tekkit server that has fun creating large manufacturing facilities, and the loss of condensers and everything EE would cripple everything on it.
    Anyway, just a request to continue to support EE2. At least until EE3 is at a level that it has more features implimented.

    I'm not exactly sure what to edit to do what in the config file. I basicly want to replace all creepers with the Ghost Creepers, and turn all others off. what should I change in it? *spawn=0?

    I don't think there's one in there currently, but I'd like to suggest that in future versions of the mod, you include a config file that lets you change the IDs of stuff. I'd love to use it right now, but it's conflicting with other mods. (and can't use ID resolver as it conflicts with other mod files)

    Wow. I found the largest deposit of oil I've seen yet. I've filled nearly 100 tank blocks with it.

    How do you cool down heated generators? I've found when you put generators in rows, eventually the one closest to the device (say a quarry) start to move faster and the color of the center area turns green. then starts growing closer to red, and eventually if left running too long, it explodes.

    I've tried leaving the generator off for full days, but nothing changed as far as I know.

    I think there's a few item conflicts between buildcraft and IC. however, it just requires you to play with item numbers in the configurations to remove those conflicts

    The generators are fun. I like the extra hinderance where the oil pistons generate heat if they go too long at too fast a speed. The fact they explode when overheating took me by surprise. How do you cool them down though? just let them sit unused for a long time?

    Suggestion: Maybe make them cool down faster or take longer to heat up if the piston is situated beside water or ice

    Don't expect immediate responses Dare. people don't refresh these pages on a minutely basis.

    Anyway, I found a new glitch. Thanks to Makray's post, I now have the generators working.
    However, the new glitch is with the quarry.

    When you hook up a pipework to the quarry to send stuff off, I've noticed that despite the blocks going through the pipes, it is also leaving blockpieces inside the quarry as well. essentially duplicating every block it mines.

    EDIT: it only seems to do this for the first few layers, but stopped while I was posting this entry. However I've still caught it duplicating one or two blocks later.

    wee, 2.0 is out! ....but it doesn't work! XO

    I installed all the mod parts, and the new forge requirement. However, something seems very wrong now.
    1) generators don't work. I've tried all 3 versions, but none of them power items. there's also no animation to them either. for wood generators, I've tried both a redstone light, and a repeater. neither make it do a thing other than emit a little particle effect. Also, I'm unable to place the generators on their sides. no matter how I try, they're always facing upwards, instead of how the preview video showed.

    2) textures have become fubared. a quarry has a different texutre on each side of it (wild grass on one side, a wood panel on another, etc). stone pipework are icons of mushrooms now.

    ...I'm not sure what's causing this, if it's a glitch with the mod itself, or some kind of conflict.

    EDIT: the texture problem was fixed. the file dk.class conflicted with dynamic lights. worked when I installed forge overtop lightning, not the other way around. however, generators still don't work.

    Triple Confirmed. Water seems to go missing when sent through pipes. I tested with a 5x5x5 vat full of water, pumped it into an exact duplicate of it, and it only filled 3.75 blocks up.

    Update: I've done the same experiment 3 times now, and I get the exact same result each time. so whatever the glitch is, the resulting missing water is a constant ratio and not random.
