well i can usally deal with 25 fps thats as low as i could get on sundays... its really not that bad it still looks fast to me..

my best guess is that its using too much RAM or an error occored, it happens to me when i get too paranoyed in saving worlds sometimes so i just go CTRL+ALT+DELETE and go to task manager then the second i click it it crashes... maybe the computers using too much RAM and minecraft dosent have enough to use.
It's because if the resolution is very high, it uses more RAM... ##.##GB i think its a glitch in the debug screen or whatever you use, 32x32 and 64x64's are less resorce demanding. PS. AND LESS LAGGY!
Hi, sorry if there are many of these threads but I have literally searched for hours and couldn't find a thread/answer anywhere, even on the Forge website...
Anyway, recently I have wanted to download InvTweaks and found out it needed forge (I have downloaded & installed modloader and have used Optifine and Rei's Minimap with MagicLauncher). I tried to install Forge on a clean .jar, but it didn't seem to work (and I did delete the META-INF).
TL;DR: What files do I install? I see a:
Folder named cpw
Folder named ibxm
Folders META-INF, net, & paulscode (which I assume I don't install?)
3 CFG files
Many Class files
An INFO file
2 pictures
2 PROPERTIES files
8 Text documents
I know I'm probably making this too difficult, but I'm obviously not the best at mods/computers lol...
I would post the crash thing but I'm pretty sure I installed the wrong files anyway.
Ok finally to avoid all of this: is there a link to some current directions anyone could give?
