Interesting. What I'd heard is the new code is... well, it's technically improved, but at the cost of functionality.
That is my impression as well - for example, while doing away with block and item id's is good for the user it has made my life a lot harder. I will need to rewrite several things from the ground up to work with the new system. Don't get me wrong - it is a good change, just a painful one.
Forge has not made my life simple either - by forcing a new dev environment and build system on us I've had to completely change the way I work. I keep being told it is way better than the old system, but the only win I see so far is the 4 seconds it saves me having to manually change the version number in the mcmod.info file. Yay.

Yeah, it's uploaded now.
I can't see the topic anymore... I guess I should have checked it sooner.
I noticed that when you added colors it messed with the alignment... I guess that's why. I'm not really sure what to do about that though.

I haven't tested them outside of MCP, so if they are any problems, please tell me. :smile.gif: I'll edit this post once I check.
Sign Colors doesn't have a server version up yet... I'll probably do that tomorrow.
(TheEnlightened: I haven't gotten a response from Apathetic yet.)
(EDIT: Oh, third page. I reached a milestone. :tongue.gif:)

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. :tongue.gif:
You need to download the client version if you want to be able to add colors yourself. Other people can see it fine without the mod.
Sadly, if you want to use it on SMP (successfully), the server has to install a small mod that adds one line of code to one file. :tongue.gif:

I'll need to upload it. It SHOULD be as simple as editing the font.txt to have '§', but when I tried that it messed all the text up (literally).
Instead, I edited the class that read from font.txt, and injected '§' after it was done loading.
It was really only one line of code. :tongue.gif:
When I upload it, I'll upload a vanilla version, and a Bukkit version.
