Blocks can now have custom visual variations in the resource packs
Does anyone know how this works? Does this mean I can create my own blocks without having to know code?

ABOUT MYSELF
I'm a 30 year old living in Thailand, have been since I was a kid. I've been minecrafting for about 4 years now and have decided to give this minecraft realms thing try. I don't know many people personally who play minecraft so I'd like to see if I can find some people who are genuinely interested in some building in minecraft.
ABOUT THE WORLD
The world is survival mode on peaceful setting. Everything seen in this world is built on survival mode. There is a main city called Eldreane. It's pretty well developed with several buildings including interiors. There are other cities as well in my world, but none are as extensively developed as Eldreane. This is a minecraft realm invite, so keep in mind that the max number of people allowed in the world at one time is 10, so I'm expecting only a small intimate group of people jumping into this world.
ABOUT YOU
You enjoy playing survival and building things. The idea of sharing that experience with others is what makes you want to join this server. You may have a couple friends you can think of that you'd like along for the ride. You have no desire to destroy or create conflict. You may want to stake out your own patch of land and start your own city, or you may want to help me out with projects in already existing cities. Naturally you will have more freedom if you have your own city, and will need to follow more specific instructions if you wish to expand the existing settlements.
ABOUT APPLYING
Either by posting on this thread or sending a personal message. Start off by stating your name and age, how long you've played minecraft for, and what you enjoy most about the game. You're trying to build trust with me, so building a relationship will need to occur before I consider allowing access to my world to you. This process doesn't need to take long, but will require some back and forth communication. I am only allowed to give 20 invites so I need to make them count. I also have to take care not to invite anyone with the capacity to troll or destroy the world.
