Hey guys, I'm just letting you know, I just uploaded a version for Minecraft 1.10.2

Alright, I've created the issue and provided an example for the usage of this functionality https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues/399

Hey sp614x, I'm just wondering if the option of not clearing a texture/color attachment at the beginning of a frame is still a possibility in order to retain texture data across frames as we discussed. This really would be quite useful!

You should really just listen to it.
Sound Physics is a mod that overhauls Minecraft's sound engine to simulate reverberation, sound occlusion/absorption, and physically based sound attenuation. The sound simulation provides interesting aural cues; you'll be able to tell whether a mob can be directly seen and whether it's just around the corner or in a closed-off area with your eyes closed. Exploring caves is much more immersive, and reverberation provides a sense of scale to grand structures or large underground ravines.
1. Download and install the latest recommended version of Forge
2. Download the Sound Physics mod from the Downloads section below
3. Open or unzip the downloaded zip file (which contains a .jar file)
4. Place the jar file inside the .zip file you just downloaded in your .minecraft/mods directory
5. **IMPORTANT SOUND FIX** Download the SE Soundfix resource pack from the Downloads section below
6. Place the resource pack .zip file in your .minecraft/resourcepacks directory
7. Select the resource pack in Options > Resource Packs and make sure it's at the top of the active resource packs list
8. Configure the parameters in the Mod Options menu to your liking
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any sound files that are stereo instead of mono will not function properly!!! If a sound file is stereo, the sound will always play at full volume with no spatial panning no matter where the sound is coming from or how far away it is! If you are making custom sounds, make sure that they're mono! You can use a free audio editor like Audacity to convert stereo sound files to mono.
A Few Other Notes
You should set the Environment Evaluation Rays in the Mod Options to the highest value that doesn't produce stuttering when sounds play (which shouldn't be an issue on moderately capable CPUs). More rays will give a more consistent and accurate sound simulation.
If your Minecraft is running at a low frame rate (below 30 fps), some sound artifacts can occur (a sound randomly having the wrong reverb settings).
Also, I can't guarantee support for this mod, but I'll try to at least keep it up to date with the latest version of Minecraft. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements!

Anybody gonna help?
Please enable the log in Magic Launcher, load up a world in Minecraft, and paste the entire log here in a spoiler so I can see exactly what went wrong and fix it.

karyonix never stopped developing the shader mod
EDIT:for people who want to see its on page 131 of karyonix's forum post
karyonix told me personally that he was stopping shader mod development. Perhaps he has been indecisive in this, but that's what he told me. If he's still on board to help with updating, then that's just awesome. If not, I'll have to see what I can do on my own.
As he said, it's a big change from 1.5 to 1.6. I'm new to Java, so we'll see what happens.

Chroma Hills is a perfect blend of realism and artistry that suits SEUS very well. I'm still in the middle of settling a lot of new features, but the screenshots you see above were taken with the latest version of my work. It's great to have a texture artist working with SEUS in mind!Posted in: Resource Packs

The shader is a great thing , but is there any way to bring back the vibrant glossy colors like you would find in a ray traced graphic.
I find that using the shaders creates a washed out look. Is there anyway to bring this back to bright rich glossy colors and still have shading effect?
Can you post an example image? I may be able to emulate certain styles of raytracers to a degree.

All was established norms, beauty!
But, there are moments when there is a big shadow.
Screenshot light it is normal. Dark is it is necessary to clean.
Prompt in what there can be a problem?
Looks like some material errors... I'll double the precision of the material system and hopefully that'll fix it. Does this effect flicker at high frequency?
Feb 28, 2013Someone pointed out to me that the shaderpack that I uploaded was a .rar instead of a .zip which would cause installation errors. I just fixed that now.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
For anyone with errors installing v10 RC7, go re-download and put the .zip in your shaderpacks folder where the .rar was. Shaderpacks can only be read as .zip files or as folders.

but sometimes the ripples seems to move upwards against the stream. but maybe its just looks like that in the vid.
True. The ripples are yet another faked element to this shader, I'm trying to get them to look as 'legit' as possible.
