    There actually is a feature to adjust the eyes/teeths. Use the "/vamprism eye <number>" (or fang) to try different eye types.

    The settings you suggested would probably provide a better way to configure it, but it would be quite time consuming to implement properly and I don't think it is worth it.

    Regarding skins. Yes, some could use a redesign, however, the use of HD textures in a mod is rather bad practice. If your friend would like to create 64x32 skins, he can submit some if he likes.

    If you are looking for higher quality textures, you can always use a texture pack, e.g. this BDCraft addon by Gedankenspiel http://gedankenspiel.me/vampirism/

    so basically allowing human players to use vampire abilities? That would kinda defeat some of the basic concepts of this mod?

    But a "lite" version might be an interesting idea for servers/modpacks , where not everyone wants to get deep into Vampirism, but might be interested in some of the features.

    Or did I misunderstand you?



    i mean, this type of vampirism is special. you don't just need the stone to get this type of vampirism, but also a soul of a REALLY powerful vampire lord.
    and this isn't the normal run-of-the-mill vampire, either.
    this vampire is meant to be something out of castlevania.

    ie. flame attacks, summoning bats as a projectile weapon, using souls as well as blood to heal, transform into mist or a wolf, and a giant demon form.


    this is what i call "the dark lord". one where the very air around one perpetuates a dark atmosphere (as in, the immediate area around a dark lord would always be nighttime, unless canceled out by an equal power). one that can summon a giant castle (as in, a pocket dimension which houses your giant castle.), and command an army of undead (able to summon x amount of zombies and skeletons.)and who knows what else. one that only an equally powerful vampire hunter (yes, i do propose an opposite power to a dark lord for balance) can slay.


    if you have ever played lament of innocence, this is how dracula became, well. dracula. by sealing the soul of another vampire lord inside of the crimson stone.

    this can't be any vampire. it HAS to be an especially powerful one or else the stone will reject it. and you'd have to first FIND the crimson stone too. and dropping or throwing away the stone would cure the vampirism. but, if another person were to obtain the stone dropped, they would have to kill another powerful vampire.

    in a sense, this is a different type of vampirism, one that requires gaining dominance over another vampires soul, and with it, dark and terrible power.

    like, can we just hold a button and swing a sword?

    it'd help with striking at a distance.

    well. obviously SOME liberties have to be taken. there wasnt any because to my knowledge there was no water in prime 3. just like how there was no lava for prime 2.
    if there isnt some kind of gravity addon for the ped in this mod, then it would be kind of underpowered compared to the phazon suit.

    an idea.

    the crimson stone - grants vampirism so long as it is in the holders inventory. it grants "dark lord" vampirism. it is the same as the vampire lord, but now it also adds a host of magical abilities for the human form. hellfire, dark inferno, summoning damaging bat projectiles. the fire abilities aren't ordinary fire, but magical darkness-infused fire. the vampire lord form also gets enhancements. able to spit green flames.

    i'm just hoping the new quiver system lets me hold all types of arrows in one quiver.

    normal, fire, ice, bomb, water bomb, fire bomb, and light arrows.

    I'm thinking a silver variety could be introduced. if one throws arrows into the fountain then the resulting silver arrows deal massive damage to all mobs. it doesn't travel through walls, but when ganon as a boss is added, the silver arrows can probably be what damage him.

    also. in terms of new content... I am thinking of a ring system similar to the oracle games. you are given a ring box which acts as a menu that holds all the rare rings you collect. you can wear one at any given time. and they provide buffs...such as increased attacks (bombs, swords, bows, and boomerangs), defense, speed, and other things.


    each ring is randomly found in chests, given away by bosses, or found by defeating a randomly-spawning "golden" enemy.


    now, speaking of handheld content.... i thought of another item from the handhelds.

    remember the super-broken boomerang from links awakening? well.... heres a thought....

    a boomerang that DAMAGES enemies instead of stuns!. this item would be called "the boomerang of dreams." and would be a very hard to obtain item found at the end of a trading sequence similar to links awakening. but, for such a hard-to-obtain item, it fittingly has a damage output rivalling the biggoron sword. in fact, it's pretty much a biggoron sword you can throw and retrieve items with. it is super broken, which is why you'd have to go through a trading sequence to get!


    the trading sequence would end in a boss fight with a golden goriya. goriyas are typically enemies that throw boomerangs. this boss throws a VERY powerful boomerang. after beating him, he will drop his boomerang for you to have!


    also is there a way we can set the fire rods fire to NOT light tiles on fire? it's kind of annoying to put fires out.

    i'd like the fire rod to only be able to light torches and melt unbreakable ice.


    ooh. another idea i thought up. i saw in botw there were different types of bows. a bow that drew my attention was the savage lynel bows. what is so special about it? well. they take three arrows to fire but they spread out in a wide arc. with bomb arrows, the savage lynel bow can create havoc for unsuspecting foes.

    that should be in the zelda mod.

    I do think the light suit and ped with hazard shield should have ways of moving through lava and water unhindered.

    i love these suits... but the phazon suit is still more useful as it can move through water AND lava on top of resisting blue phazon.

    leads me to wish the light suit would be just like a gravity suit but with the ability to be immune to dark aethers atmosphere or the ped suit with hazard shields being a gravity suit that has a hyper mode funtion.


    i dunno, it feels like the other endgame suits aren't as overpowered as the phazon suit is in terms of what you can access.


    perhaps a gravity type upgrade only these suits could accept?


    or, what if theres an upgrade system where the suits upgrades can be toggled on and off a la super metroid?

    obviously, the varia and gravity suits can be toggled on as the base, but then the path branches to the suits exclusive to each prime game (phazon suit for prime 1, dark and light suit from prime 2, ped suit and hazard shield from prime 3.)

    now, all the game-exclusive suits would work like the gravity suit with an additional bonus depending on which suit samus has. I know it isn't what the prime series did, but i rarely find myself ever using the other endgame suits because the phazon suit itself is far too useful, since it can travel through lava and water unhindered.


    edit: I know i suggested a way to increase mining/digging capabilities of the suit. but i just thought of a way. maybe we could, say, have an upgrade for missiles that increases what type of block they can break through.

    diamond missiles would be as strong as a diamond pickaxe, able to bust through obsidian.

    maybe the grapple lasso can be used to grab and place blocks for building?

    hopefully once you come out from your break you can update the mod to the latest version of forge... maybe even import a lot of the addon content as the redmajora is now retired.

    minecraft has dual wielding by default, so we wouldnt need the combat mod to dual-wield swords and shields anymore.

    heck, it might be neat to dual wield items... like... two hookshots? a fire rod and ice rod?


    and then theres items link DOESNT wield... but enemies do. how about: the darknut sword? the sword of the six sages? ganons trident?

    maybe we can also see bosses.....


    we also need more inventory space to hold all this stuff we carry. I mean, the quiver system is a bit... too.. limiting. maybe there can be a system that allows all arrow types to fit in one quiver. (normal, fire, ice, light, bomb, water bomb, and fire bomb arrows) I kinda like being a marksman.

    sorry... i just really want you back so we can get this mod out of 1.7.10 and into 1.10 and up.

    the zero suit replaced the justin bailey code. and it doesnt make any sense. as the zero suit never had the abilities of the power suit. she has a dinky pistol and can crawl.
    the justin bailey code should allow me to see my skin and hide my armor. that includes the zero suit.

    i mean, i like the zero suit fine, but it is weird to see our upgrades used with it.

    i mean, never have i ever seen the zero suit use the normal power suit weapons.

    I'd think the zero suit could be its own password where justin bailey completely hides the armor and zero suit.
