Nvidia GEFORCE GT 540M is the graphics card

And yes, I know there are better CPU's out there, but I don't have alot of money to go out and spend on the best CPU for a laptop

Hi guys,

So recently I got a new laptop and I wanted to try minecraft on it, and it has been lagging and not "smooth". I even installed optifine and it is not helping. Below are the specs of the laptop

Intel i7 processor at 2.2ghz, can be over clocked too 3.10ghz
1GB Nvidia graphics card
8GB RAM
1TB hard drive (pretty sure the hard drive dosent matter)

So anybody know what can be wrong? On my other laptop with had a AMD Dual Core processor didnt even lag one bit and I didn't even have optifine installed.

Does anybody know how to make an alarm? For example, I want something that when I switch my lever on, there would be something repeating like a jukebox to make it sound like an alarm. I've searched it up but couldnt find anything good.

I am messing around with redstone, and I am a gate with 2 switches on this server, so basically, when I open the switch from the inside, and then close the gate with the outside switch, then the inside switch cant be used unless I flip the switch on the outside. I know it kinda sounds confusing but I really need help with it because if I leave and close the gate from the outside, then the person on the inside cant leave :/

So I recently went on a adventure and found 33 diamonds. I also have the 11 from a trip about 4 days ago. What the most you have gotten? And also, my fortune III helped alot.

Lights in my room, I have a lever when I switch it on, the lights come on, and if I switch it off, the lights turn off. I thought it was such a good idea when I though of it, but then I searched it up and saw people already having that in there houses. But I still wired it up by myself, I like to experiment and keep doing it till I get it right which I did And I did this all yesterday

Alright, so this has happened to me before, basically I'll be mining and I'll get a pop up saying "Saving Chunks" and then it goes to a black screen. I've had this happen to be 5 days ago and I lost my world that I've been working on for about 3 months which really sucks, but I decided to start again. I started again yesterday, and I downloaded Tyken132's texture pack, and I downloaded SPC (single players commands) and now every time I try to mine gravel I get the error.

By the way, I am using tyken's texture pack because I don't lag what so ever. When I use the default texture pack, I always lag, any reason for this?

Thanks and hopping to get this fixed, and I only use SPC for items that I can't get, or don't know where to get.

Theres too many "bumps" on it. If you wanna make something like you would get in a minecraft world after starting it, you can see its more smooth. Still not bad though.

There's lots of opinions in this kind of topic. People play the cracked version because they want to see if they like the game. I personally played the cracked version because at first I thought that the game was stupid, and I wouldn't want to spend money on something I wouldn't like. Eventually I bought the game though, so if you play the cracked version, you are in fact stealing them. Why not just make your own money (there's lots of ways) and buy a prepaid card and buy the game. I'm not hating on the OP, just stating my opinion.

I don't really like the idea of having it all wood, I mean with my house, I like to have a little bit of wood mixed in with stone. Looks really nice if you know what your doing. Anyway's, this isn't bad, a bit to dark for me, I would rate it a 7/10.
