You must disable any firewall or any internet protection system in your device. Try installing “Xbox” app from the store. Sign in to your Microsoft account on “Xbox”. If it works, your Minecraft should be able to sign in. If it doesn't work, reinstall Minecraft.
There should be an option for you to choose where your worlds are saved. It's either "Internal" or "External". If it doesn't work, use your file explorer. It should be saved at games\MinecraftWorlds.

1.2.13 update is currently in beta. The Minecraft for Windows 10 does not support this update. 1.2.13 is not a stable update and can only be played on android.

Try finding the legacy version of Minecraft. May be your friend owns it, or any game store nearby. You can try contacting 4J Studios. After converting it to the legacy version, convert it to the bedrock edition.

A clean Minecraft needs the following.
1. Install https://launcher.mojang.com/download/MinecraftInstaller.msi
2. Save it in a place, dont delete it after opening it.
3. Open it and click on uninstall Minecraft.
4. Press Win+R, type in %appdata%\.minecraft
5. Delete all the files except for the folder named 'saves'
6. Reopen the .msi software then install Minecraft
7. Delete the .msi software
8. Launch Minecraft, click on 'Play', remember to play it with the latest version.
9. Your good to go! If you want to install Forge, you can install it, but remember to play servers with the latest version instead of 'forge'
