I'd like to find a seed like what the OP describes too. I'd like a world that reminds me of the original Alpha and Beta Java MInecraft when the game used to have those beautiful tall rocky mountain ranges and huge overhangs that looked truly awesome!
42 is not old. You're just a baby compared to my age and I love Minecraft. I even have Minecraft lego sets that I've built and dotted around the house as well as those Papercraft Minecraft sets and many Minecraft books. Nah,..you're as old as you feel. You got one life only so never worry about what other people think, just enjoy yourself like I do.
This is why I love to play my games on my PC. Being able to perform manual backup saves and then simply being able to drop a previous Save back into the Minecraft directory if needed.

If you just want to simply launch Minecraft then just click on your Start button and it will be there in the menu.

Then simply don't play the Bedrock version. It's your choice. Nobody forced you. Just play the Java version.
