This is a known bug and will be fixed with the next update. For now there's nothing you can do about it.

we've thought long and hard about this, mainly because there is one key problem. What if you want to armor up a cow with iron armor? I can't render the iron armor as usual, because that was intended for player models only. The same thing goes for necro mobs that have been added by other modders and armor that has been added by other modders.

are you sure you're still on 1.4.7? if so, check the FAQ to see how you can post a log.
barely, a server host has offered me to help me test the SMP compatibility properly when i get a release ready. so the next version should be a whole lot more stable on multiplayer

those lag spikes are caused by bad algorithms. they will be fixed in the next update. the console thing is caused by the other blocks of the altar. when you destroy the altar, the other 2 blocks haven't realized yet that the altar is gone and they log an error message.
arms are already in the mod. they are crafted like so:
you need to put the mob drop of the mob you want (gunpowder, rotten flesh etc.) in the gap. the videos you watches are from an earlier version of the game when bodyparts weren't fully implemented yet.
sorry about the 1.5 update taking so long. again, i have been really busy and will remain so for another week. to keep you entertained i've made a list of the features that will be added in the next update.
2 new mobs, with minion support so that you can turn them into bodyparts and add them to your minion.

a command, "remodel". you can use this when a minion's part aren't displayed correctly.
a better looking necronomicon.
