    Just started my new LP, and finally hit my second episode c: ! This is good if you're trying to get familiar with the modpack. I can also answer questions/help if you are having trouble with the modpack (although Eyamaz is definitely the better person to ask for bugs).

    If I get more than 10 likes on my second episode, I will post a picture of my cat with a subway sandwich on its head.

    I have an issue with DenLib. Link to pastebin error report. Removing DenLib and its mods (Plugins for Forestry, DenPipes) made all of the errors disappear, despite GravityGun and Factorization throwing up a few errors. Running with just the CoreMod made it crash. Other people are running the exact copy, with the same version of Java, successfully. I tried to regenerate the configs, but it still blows up. Deleting the configs results in no configs generating at all. Using a copy of someone else's configs still doesn't work.

    I installed a new copy of MagicFarm, just in case it was an issue with our pack, but that one had the exact same issue after a fresh install. I'm guessing it's incompatible with my computer, somehow... crash log should have info on what I'm running, let me know if it's not precise enough and I'll provide more info. It's odd, because it was literally working this morning, same settings...I'm guessing an update with Windows 8 broke it, unsure how though. ; v;

    I'm here to report a bug! In certain conditions, dispensers can't suck up Destabilized Redstone! Alternatively, in certain conditions they CAN! (I hope it's the former and not the latter.)

    Basically, it will dispense just fine, but the dispenser that dispensed as well as any other dispensers around the liquid redstone will be locked up. However, if you place a new dispenser next to redstone, it will be able to suck up the redstone if it receives a different pulse.

    Typing it out, it might not necessarily be a bug...but it would be awesome if it could be both dispensed and sucked up without needing to place new dispensers. I guess this is more of a suggestion now =/ . Maybe there is a way to check if a machine is next to a source block, and have the redstone not power it? Or check if it is being dispensed, and not power on that side of the source block?

    Anyways, here's a description of the [private] pack we are using:

    Cataclysm is a private server based off of the 1.5.2 Feed the Beast modpack--with many extra mods. This is not a publicly available modpack, but feel free to check out any of the mods you see and add it to your own private pack! My favorite added mods are Legend Gear, Underground Biomes, Ars Magica, Extra Bees, Magic Bees, Xeno's Reliquary, MineTunes, and Herbology. From the default pack, I'll be using a lot of ComputerCraft, BuildCraft, Thaumcraft, and Forestry! And, of course, lots of vanilla redstone! If you have a question about the pack, just let me know.

    STuCK has four members: sarydactl, IceFissure, BigBadComplex, and katieb1650. They are all awesome people, and you should check out their channels for more quality videos! They all focus on different kinds of mods, so be sure to check them out if you want to see everything that's possible on the server!

    Are you using the most recent mod version? I fixed the worldgen and hopefully this missing ore issue as well, but if not, I'm willing to investigate it.
    It should never affect vanilla ores, only mod ores that add ores late in generation process and check for stone only instead of checking isGenMineableReplaceable().


    I figured there was a mechanic like that, since Rocky Bees were only spawning in vanilla stone biomes. I guess it's something you can't fix, then v _v . BUT, at least we know the cause ~ . We are using the 0.3.8 version, so it's fairly recent. They must be getting very unlucky. Do you know if it's safe/stable to upgrade a server from 3.8 to the fossil version?

    Also, I'm just a little curious about something. While playing with some friends on a private server, we noticed that ore generation seems to be...weird. Sometimes no ores will generate in a layer, while another layer will have a comparatively huge amount. Removing the mod makes everything dispersed as normal, and gives us about x4 the ore. I believe this only affects mod-generated ores, but the other people on the server believe this is affecting vanilla ores as well. Anyways, is this intended, or are we understanding it improperly? Or maybe it's a mechanic that's out of your control? We have generated a few worlds to test the theory and it definitely seems to be your mod changing things around.

    IMO worth the pretty caves, but the other people on the server are not pleased with it > v> .

    I think I may have found a bug. I have Ars Magica installed (although this might apply to all books, these were the books I found it with) along with this mod. When clicking the music note on a non-music book, it appears to crash (since, yknow, it has no idea how to read it). It would be cool if Minetunes could check to see if it's a music book or a regular book before crashing. If this mod isn't what adds the music note to books, then carry on, and I'll just feel silly over here > v> ; .

    Is there a way to remove spiders and fire bats from the ominous woods in the config? Or at least keep them from spawning during the day?
