Well if you look at that then it becomes:
- Water: Worthless, as it requires you to go to the Nether, brew Fire Resist Throwing Potions, when you could have just walked 6 blocks and placed it.
- Lava: Not as worthless, but still pretty useless. An overly complicated trip to the Nether crafting an item just to craft another item that you could have just walked over and placed. Sure it is a little bit safer but as long as you have the coordination of a 10 year old you can probably place Lava safely.
- Teleporter: Could be useful, but way too expensive. Very rarely is switching spots with something ever going to be an advantage unless you set it up to put yourself at great risk anyways.
- Experience Drain: Completely worthless. Buy 8 Experience Bottles to steal one Experience Bottle worth of XP from a player! Because it makes sense to steal 3-11 XP when you could have used the Bottles to get 8 times as much!
- Golden Apple: Huge cost, when those items alone would restore WAY more health by using them on yourself rather than making the item, unless the Regeneration 3 effect lasts for a stupidly long time.
- Neutralizer: Pointless on mobs unless you are stranded in the desert or on an island. Extremely pointless on passive mobs, unless you REALLY need a flower for some reason. Could be useful on the Wither, except the fact you should already be capable of killing a Wither seeing how you already have a Wither Star. And with that fact it makes the other two even less useful. If you have a Wither Star, You aren't having a problem with hostile mobs.
When you look at an item purely from a survival point of view almost everything is useless, glowstone, flowers, etc but imagine a pvp map where you are trying to sabotage the opponent in a race for example if you get the lava onto their side they are slowed but if it lands on your side from missing then you would get slowed teleporter is extremely overpowered so the cost is reasonable as an end game item... you could just jump in a pool of lava then swap places with someone nearby and kill them... I really can't explain the Idea much more to you, you are simply looking at everything critically (FYI I found some real flaws in the Idea just by looking at the up side of it first unlike you who hasn't noticed a major issue in it because you are rushing to obvious conclusions on how an Idea is bad because it doesn't interest you.)

Some of those are pretty weird. The water and lava ones are just pure upgrades from buckets. The switch spot one is... I don't know. How far can it be thrown? The experience stealer only has use on multiplayer. The god apple one is very overpowered.
The neutrailizer is very out there and also possibly overpowered as well, as it can make breeding extremely easy in some cases. Why would I want to turn animals into flowers?
Please look at the costs of items I put them right there... Yet you purely ignored them so that you could look at the idea from a critical point of view when its unnecessary.

Spam throwable lava buckets = large-range instant griefing.
Seriously. High up in the air, spamming these all over a server would pretty much destroy a well-populated area. Even 5 seconds with a hotbar full of these could let a griefer annihilate a place before a moderator bans him. On the other hand, a griefer flying through an area and spamming the actual lava bucket would affect a smaller range much slower.
Also, many of these are not "Ideas for New Throwable Items". They're "Overpowered Mini-Grenades that Are Ridiculously Expensive and Impractical". Many of these are incredibly random. Most of them are impractical. Some of them are overpowered. No support.
When you're trying to Critique an Idea make sure both your arguments express one thing instead of contradicting each other. For example, if the griefer has the bucket, or is able to throw the lava blocks does not make a difference because when they are flying over a server going down to put a lava block isn't a big worry. Secondly you said they are overpowered yet ridiculously expensive... that argument can be used for literally everything in the game. Diamond pickaxe's with enchantments are overpowered yet ridiculously expensive. I guess you don't have a strong sense of logic. For example you claim they are random, that's almost as if you don't even play minecraft or have any clue of what's in it... literally everything after the 1.3 Beta update is "random." In my opinion the Idea wasn't even that good but the way you Critiqued it meant that your say really has no value.

I would also like to mention since this post hasn't gotten much feedback that the items in this are all extremely difficult to make and would only have a practical use on servers or maps, but that rule applies for many other things, this is basically a more game-play friendly version of some commands they could have.

A few I thought of were
Randuins - It could create a slowing effect around you when you right click with it
Iron Armor + Pork Chop
Phantom Dancers - it could make you faster like movement potions and your attacks could have a chance to strike twice
Flint + Gold Sword + Gold Sword
Triforce - It could have Tier 1 of every enchantment and be as durable as a diamond pickaxe or something like that
Wooden Axe + Gold Pickaxe + Diamond Sword
Idk i just thought it would be cool because I like both games and it would be pretty easy to code... I guess everything could be made out of materials already in minecraft and it would make a use for things like lapiz and gold and stuff like that..

I thought of a few not overpowered throw-able things.
Throw-able Water Source
Water source where thrown.
Throw-able Lava Source
Lava source where thrown.
Throw-able Switch Spot
Thrower changes spots with target.
Throw-able Experience Stealer
Thrower steals one experience bottle worth of exp from target.
Throw-able God Apple
Small radius of Regeneration III and Healing II.
When thrown at mobs in the area turn into an animals, when thrown at an animals it turns them animal to mushrooms or flowers.
Does not work against the Ender Dragon
When thrown at the Wither this happens:
It means you lose a very difficult to get wither skull, for some peace from something you probably built, not to mention you had to have killed a wither before to even make the potion.
Other peoples Ideas recipes I thought would be expensive enough but I'm not sure...

I thought of a couple Ideas for how the current minecraft tiers could use the same Idea to make it worth using those other tools.
Wood: Wooden tier weapons could have the ability to find pieces of other items Inside ores like bones or a clock with a very low probability rate.
This makes sense since wood I softer and more delicate meaning that the other tools destroy the things inside ground while wood can preserve it.
Stone: Stone tools would come with an advantage and disadvantage, when mining they can sometimes use a half of their durability to collapse a big area of block like half a TNT worth of explosion, however this could be dangerous when building your home. Same applies for the sword, but it won't do explosive damage. However not the hoe which could have a chance of hoeing a larger area.
Cobblestones are hard to shape mining with them is unpredictable they might not have precision, but they are very hard. (That's what she said)
Gold: Gold tools would serve the purpose of healing half a heart sometimes when used (10% chance) this could serve as way for people in mines to heal themselves, but not supply them with food, which would be overpowered.
I could make a whole story about how gold is magical because ancient spirits want it or something and how they like it when the durability gets used because they pick up the bits and run away or something so they use magic to heal the player, but that would ridiculous and childish so I won't say that. Wink*
Iron: Iron tools would serve the purpose of making loud (but you can't hear them that loud) sounds during mining to scare off spiders. This is the only mob they would scare away so when you're in that mining shaft you don't have to deal with poison spiders. However every other mob will still go out of their way to try and kill you and that includes creepers. (My personal number 1 cause of death)
Iron is metal, metal makes loud sounds.
Diamond: Diamond is the top tier and is overpowered enough so I thought It would be best if it had no additional powers.
I tried to balance the Ideas but their might be flaws so you can just tell me in the comments, thanks for reading it opinions would be very much appreciated good or bad!

I think that along with picking lily pads if a player rides this lily raft it could slowly drop off the pads so that the water isn't clear of its pads.

What you guys don't understand is that 380 Iron plus + 1 hour of time, is nowhere near worth 25 diamonds, a skilled miner could find that many diamonds in half an hour. Also throw in the fact that a player needs to have first gone to the end meaning the player is already probably very wealthy.
While you can't say it's op you can say that it doesn't fit In Minecraft, it also recommended that you include the mod that has the idea (equivalent exchange) The concept of alchemy itself while may fit into minecraft in other ways, the way you proposed is a long and boring sci-fi style thing, which doesn't fit with minecrafts magical rpg style gameplay, which encourages sudden creations with lengthened efforts, not lengthened efforts leading to a lengthened creation. Sorry but this wouldn't fit in the game the way you suggested in my opinion, maybe look at it from a not so obvious and different angle and it might get more support from this community. That's just my opinion.

This is easily doable with pistons, I don't think we need an entire new set of items for it. I'd prefer it if people were encouraged to be creative with what is already existing rather than having a specific item for every small task.
If it was made at all then I think there would only be need for one type, most special tools like flint&steel, boats, minecarts, shears, bow and so on only have one tier.
Actually they do try to compact many things while maybe not giving it tiers, the tiers in this would be like the different levels of a repeater, however they have to have tiers since it's just a cage or else it wouldn't make sense. Though I understand your point, you like to build every little feature I know there is a sense of pride in that it just takes a bit more time and isn't as elegant or space efficient than having its own block.

Trap Mobs, Control the time of their release, If you built a lot of adventure maps or built mob grinders you would think of many uses for them.

Iron bar gates hooked to redstone while infinite are extremely chunky when it comes to holding things for a long time. Imagine a puzzle where the entire time you and a zombie travel together and see each other throw a window. In that case sure Iron Bars work, but not for falling downwards. Or when placed against a wall.
