If you are running windows, press windows key + R, and then type in %AppData%\.minecraft. Navigate to \logs, and open up the file named "latest.log" with notepad or a similar program. Paste that result here inside a spoiler tag.

The image you posted is from essentials, there should be an option to disable it in the config.

The welcome messages are probably from essentials, but I'll need a log in order to verify.

I always wonder how people manage failing to notice the huge mod list included in every crash report ...

I would rather him just post a list rather than try to sort through all that. I think it would be a bit odd if I could tell him a likely problem and not be able to see that there is a list of mods there. ;)

EDIT: To the original poster, does this ever happen when you are in a certain place or dimension? Because what is most likely happening is that the game can't handle the mob that spawns.

Well, I would say some of the mods you are using are causing a mob to spawn that the client is not able to render. I can't see the exact problem from the log. Are you using a modpack? If not, could you just post a list of the mods you are using?

posted a message on Tileable wall block swapper help
Having a block swapper swap pistons and chests will be difficult if not impossible without command blocks because, as far as I know, pistons nor slime blocks can push pistons and chests.

posted a message on Tileable wall block swapper help
I'm assuming that you want to change the blocks in a wall rapidly, and that it needs to be able to do a lot of blocks. Something you'll have to be more detailed on, though, is do you want it to randomly switch blocks, or to have it 'scripted' so to speak? For the latter you just need several variations of blocks elsewhere and just clone them where you want with command blocks. For the former, I would recommend a random block generator and then a random block placer, which is a little more complex. Please clarify.

Check to make sure that you've uninstalled Java 8, djlam. Then I'd recommend downloading another copy of the minecraft launcher to make sure that it is not corrupted in any way, which I doubt.

Interesting map, but you may want to change the default gamemode that players spawn with, it's currently set to creative.

posted a message on Command block update ideas
    Only one suggestion per topic.

I like the idea of toggling the visibility of names above players (might make PvP a little more interesting). However, I'm not quite sure what you mean by the /addItem command. Do you mean something like a /give command? Or a command that adds a whole new block to the game? If so, how would you set the item to a certain texture?

Although I like the idea of more features to a sandbox game such as minecraft (more things to build with, better redstone mechanics, etc.), I do agree with you somewhat. However, in every update, as well as adding more content, Mojang also attempts to patch at least some of the bugs they have introduced. The best way to get a bug/glitch fixed is to report it on Mojira, where you should hopefully have a better chance of having this fixed. If you have already done so, then you'll just have to cross your fingers.
    Cheers.
