Oh! Yes! My dream come true! Halo and Minecraft merge! Ummm... I don't own Halo but I am a fan. Could I have a purple spartan skin similar to yours but with neon colors and the master chief helmet please?!?
I don't want to seem annoying or ignorant about this but I've used up all other alternatives... so here goes:
I'm trying to set up a server for just me and maybe 2-3 other friends. I've followed the tutorial that is stickied on the support page as well as the tutorial on portforward.com for my specific router. I've had success in setting up the static ip (I know this because I still have an internet connection), and I'm pretty sure the port forwarding is set up on port 25565 with my local ip. And yet I still can't get the port to open (port checker tool says it is unable to ping my router)! Besides the above tutorials I've also looked on youtube, and done searches on google and this forum for solutions without luck.
Specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Java 6.24
Google Chrome Browser
Wireless Connection 15ms ping, 16.84mb/s download, 3.6mb/s upload
If I'm being to vaugue please just tell me anything else I should include!
Try Microsoft Expression Encoder. If you look it comes with a screen capture program. The free version only lets you record up to 10 minutes but it records HD and fullscreen. It can be a bit of a hassle in general sometimes, and confusing too though. Another you can try is Camstudio, although I'm not sure if it records HD without lag. Try them both and see which one works best. If you have any problems with the Expression Encoder Screen Capture just ask and I'll see if I can help.

1. Get a friend on your server to stand where the unloaded/ungenerated part is so that you each generate half of the contraption.
2. Use an NPC mod to do the same thing as stated above.
