How long a day/week will you play on this server? As long as I can, mostly depends on whether or not I like the mod pack.. Probably will, since a different server I played on(the only one I tend to play on) won't help me get out of the Nether, the world just unloads and I respawn there when I die..
Will you be good at this role? Probably, considering I've been a 'Head-Mod' on either one or two servers before, and owned a few myself.

If you're interested in this idea, I'd be happy to help with skinning the blocks.
What I'm looking for is a mod that adds power sources to the game. Specifically, windmills. The idea is that you craft windmill blade blocks and a central nut block. You can put the nut on any surface. You attach three to four blade blocks to all sides of the nut block and it begins spinning.
To harness this power, you craft transmission rod blocks. There should also be universal joint blocks so you can transfer the power around corners.
What I envision is that there will be special task blocks at the end of this setup. My primary idea is to have a grain mill block you can craft that will turn raw crops into refined flour to make wheat bread that will give more hunger points than normal bread.
Perhaps you can even think of other good ideas. A grinder that takes gravel and makes flint out of it or maybe a clay miller that makes clay when you add dirt and gravel (would conveniently solve the limited nature of clay in a way that adds crafting to the game).
The more of these task blocks available the better. Ideally there would be a joint block that lets you separate the power into three additional rods and no more so that each blade/nut combo can only power 3 task blocks.
Just get something called Tekkit. If you use a cracked Minecraft, there's a Technic launcher for that, too.

Just look up on Youtube how to install Forge and go to your .minecraft folder after you install it. Go to your Mods folder and put the .jar file in it.
I do not need any replies to this topic. Please only reply if you have a good reason to. I now use a premium client and have many good server lists at hand.
ive installed the new update, my game crashes every-time i open it is there a way to fix this?
Give us a crash report, we can't do anything unless we have one.
If one doesn't show up on the screen, open the file browser and type '%appdata%\.minecraft\crash-reports\' in the bar(without the ')
The latest one should be good, copy and paste it in a code within a spoiler
