    Hello. I've been using MFR for quite some time now without issue, except just now. I added Thaumcraft, some add ons as well as Reika's mods (Rotary, Electric and Reactor). I went exploring for some aura nodes, triggering worldgen and a crash.

    I tried creating a new world to narrow down the issue, and indeed its reproducible on a new world. Something about the rubber tree leaves. The crash report is below.

    Hello.

    I must say, this is a great mod. The concept is great, the execution is versatile.
    However, the main reason I came looking for this was because, as we all know, OpenBlocks' Tanks generate like infinite lag, especially when they're large.

    On first glance this looks like a suitable replacement (not implying your mod is inferior or anything)... However, it seems that you can only extract/input liquids from the controller?

    I personally have no issue with having to place a controller somewhere (because I can easily hide it). The problem is that you can only interact with the tank through the controller?

    Correct me if I'm wrong please. I would love to be able to pump to/from the tank from any connected block. The ability to hold multiple liquids is also nice, although I don't see myself using it too often.

    Hello, it's me again.

    I haven't updated to the latest version (posted yesterday?) yet, but since I didn't see any bug reports on this I figured I'll post it here, if you haven't already fixed it.

    This concerns your blocks not dropping items on breaking: no, not ReactorCraft, but RotaryCraft. To be specific, they don't break when using IndustrialCraft (currently at experimental build 2.0.305)'s diamond drill, but break properly with normal pickaxes. I spent a long time digging in the handbook trying to see if you needed something like a wrench to break it properly but it seems it's my diamond drill.

    It could be an issue on IC2's end of course, but given the situation it's more likely some kind of incompatibility with your machines?

    First things first - amazing mod. I rarely post about these things but RotaryCraft, with it's fantastic operation and beautiful models is an exception (:

    Next, a quick question - I know you're too busy to maintain a wiki on these things, so I ask: does the handbook contain a guide for ReactorCraft as it does RotaryCraft? Apologies if it has been asked before but I didn't see it if so.

    Do you want to try calculating required gearboxes/engines to power a machine that requires 76.384 hp at 8475.2619 rpm, requiring a temperature of 1176.2355 degrees, at a pressure of 0.99938 bar?


    You are my idol. I honestly cannot imagine how schools teach children this.





    Plus - I do things realistically. Do you really want RotaryCraft to use realistic electrical power, with current loops, magnetic induction, nodal analysis, and electrical phase calculations? You will change your "electricity is simple" position rather rapidly.


    But will you consider making a mod that does exactly that? Your realistic take on things is most interesting.

    Finally, just ignore the trolls, keep doing what you're doing!

    and what exactly is 'the new way' of installing mods?

    Put it in the mods folder.
    Run minecraft with Java 7 (very important), you can change it in the profile settings in the launcher.

    Thought this mod was dead?

    Yea. For about 3-4 months it's been collecting dust in the corner of my Development folder.
    But not anymore!

    I've ported the code to 1.6.2... about 33% of the damn thing anyway.


    Expect a Developer Preview sometime by next weekend.
    I'll have removed all traces of Geology, for the following reasons:

    1. Most of the Geology bit is useless.
    2. Many of the things, like Armour and Tools, are highly intertwined with Minecraft's own code; the 1.6.2 update broke many of these.
    (EntityLiving cannot be 'instanceof'd to EntityPlayer?!)

    Don't worry, I didn't delete it, just expect a slow update to that section.


    Meanwhile what the DP *will* contain is some parts of chemistry; I'll need you people to play around with the reaction system and the NBT container system and find bugs.

    Yes! Advanced tech-y armour is definitely planned, but I don't think an AI or any sort of automated device is a good idea -- MC mobs are already as easy as they are!

    Well... Bump?

    I know this mod seems dead, but trust me it isn't! I've just had a lot of IRL things to do, (like mid year exams).

    But once these finish I'm gonna have a lot more time to work on AITS -- expect some sort of release by end June!
    An update: quite a large deal of progress has been made in the chemistry module, as well as some planning for the rest of geology and some of astronomy.
