I play on a mac so it just froze then I got a message saying "Minecraft crashed unexpectedly". It sends a report to Apple and then I reopen it. The crashes seem to be happening with more frequency but now(not when I made this post) the game is saved right before this crash happens so the game is generally unaffected. And no, I've never used another other angle other than 1st person.
This is getting awfully frustrating. It seems to crash almost every time I load my game, and the off chance it DOES load and I can play, it's only for a little bit. Is there any resolution for this or am I talking to the wall?
I had dug and dug and dug for hours and got a lot of good stuff, packed it all away and then the game froze. When I started it again everything in the world was back to normal except all the stuff I had with me was still with me. All my goodies stashed away in my hideout was covered over again as if i had just started the map anew. Any ideas?! I would hate to think I just wasted all that time for nothing...

I just started playing this game this week and got a couple friends into and was looking to start a server. I got tall that started and when I started playing, alone, on my own server, there was lag. Stuff that I would break wasn't dropping stuff and so on. I did some reading and figured I hadn't allocated enough RAM, so I changed that to two, still no better. I have a BRAND NEW MacBook Pro so I don't know what the issue could be, if not RAM. Can anyone help me?
