Most of you don't know me. I don't participate on forums here much, although I have been a member for a long time. I'm sure most of you are aware, the bukkit project has taken several major blows recently. I am trying to raise awareness to Mojang about how crucial I feel Bukkit is to running a minecraft server. Basically, I'm trying to get a bunch of server owners together to stage a mass temporary server shut down of our servers to make Mojang aware of how crucial Bukkit is to Minecraft online Multiplayer and do something to fix the fact that we have no 1.8 and no further plans to update as of right now.

Very friendly community with active admin and staff. Loads of plugins to prevent griefing and cheating. Multiple words. Rank system prevents default players from entering trusted areas. 52 plugins total. Chestshop, mcmmo, jobs, dynamic map, precious stones to name a few baiscs.
We are always looking for serious minecraft players.
On the pc they charge people to host servers so to pay for them the host ask for donations. These people dont understand yet that this is Xbox and people don't just give away money for a server that is free.
I am proud to say that I host my own server for pc (mc.pilotdan1985.com) free of charge for users. I have invested thousands of dollars of my own money in to running my server just because I like to play minecraft and I like to play online with people who like the same.
Its very very annoying to think that people are asking users for money for running a xbox server. Makes me absolutly ill. Shame on you guys!
A closed circuit TV surveillance system. The way I picture it working is by making two items. A camera, and a monitor. First, you craft the camera and place it somewhere. Then you craft the monitor and when you right click on the monitor, you see whats happening at your camera. Then right click again to exit. The monitor would have the ability to select from a list of several cameras.
My non-computer programmer explanation of how this could work is that the cameras coordinates would be saved and when you click on the monitor, you actually transport yourself to the coordinates of the monitor temporarily, but are not able to do anything but look around with your head, and your body would not be visible.
This could be awesome for monitoring whats going on at farms or mines. I find myself walking around a lot just to see if tress are done growing, sheep grew their wool back, and if my friends castle is bigger than mine.
