@Tyranno: Server PROCESSES have that limitation, and then sometimes not even. The MineCraft server processes will all be listening on the external IPs, but I'd like them to be able to connect as clients to a database server on an internal network. This is would be an unusual request, but quite trivial for a seasoned server-hosting technician via VLANs or VM subnets.

Looks like the site is a fake/joke site. Some people create realistic hosting providers that are just a basic website with no billing or panel for lulz.
Could anyone reccommend a host for me to use with the below qualifications? I have been trying to find many hosts that have these features but the only one that has met it is MCProhosting. However I would like to know different hosts as well. Here are the qualifications:
- I need to be able to pick the location of the server and I would like it to be in Ashburn,
Virginia( Most Important )
- DDoS Protected Server
- I want to purchase a 4GB plan so the price should be around $40.
- Either Multicraft or MCMyAdmin
- If you have used the host please tell me about their service/ticket handling, if you haven't used the host, just link it.

Hi there, I am looking into the possibility of getting a dedicated server for my minecraft group, the idea is to be able to have like 3 game servers, one for vanilla, one for modded/map gameplays and one for creative builds, and, the left over space on the dedicated available for renting out to help pay for the dedicated..
I have literally zero experience with dedicated servers, so i am asking the community what would be my best options, i would like to keep the price down but, have plenty of hd space for several servers and ram to handle them..

Also for the OP, a dedicated ip is not needed to have say play.mycoolservername.com this can be done with SRV records on most host.
(support was added around 1.3 i belive?)

Unfortunately "Dedicated IP" has become a butchered "buzz word". People think that having a dedicated IP even if they don't understand what that *is* means no ports to type. It really is referring to a SRV record as having your own IPv4 IP helps you in no way in shared hosting. Well..might make you looker with a unique IP, but still have a weird port.
I am looking for a new server host. I previously used CreeperHost, but other servers in the datacenter were receiving DDoS attacks. This was affecting my server, and causing extreme lag.
