    Well, I have been lurking around this thread and never really felt a need to comment in a while, but my god that dragon is the most amazing texture I have seen in a very long time. Although I have not seen it in game, for some reason it wont work, but hey, thats minecraft for you. Froman, you have some serious talent. Honestly, the only other person I have seen on your level is Doku, even saying that, I would consider you better. Keep up the great work.

    I was a bit worried that the changes would effect the game too much, but it works really well. Also would you be able to create a recipe to craft web/barbed wire using string. Also how are you with creating brand new things? Tools weapons and mobs ect.

    I love this. You have brought me back to this post after I said I wouldn't be able to help. A few additons could be:

    (Hard drastic change) Gold armour to stop hunger/radiation depletion. Makes sense considering the nature of the suit.
    (Hard drastic change) Gold armour to be requied in the nether
    (simple change) Allow mobs to not be killed by sunlight. Although only spawn in the dark.
    (simple change) Spiders to always be hostile.
    (hard change) Dehydration could be implemented. Drinking water bottles as a solution.

    I think these will drasticly increase the difficulty of minecraft, and give Last Days a more hostile theme. This is just my two cents and ofcourse is only suggestions. I will leave it too others to decide if they would be good ideas.

    Do down to "Information for Texture Pack Authors" and it should be under Custom Animations.


    Animated textures work with Optifine. And it is much simplier to use, it's just a button in the options menu.

    The book has always been a bit of a strange texture, First you use reeds, which are actually reeds, to make scrap metal (paper) and then that makes the pad, book. Which when put with wood creates filing draws. Now we have to add stoneback leather into that it concept has become very strange.

    Personally, I think that we could use history's blueprint enchantment table to change the books. Reeds turn to paper, which turn to blueprints or schematics. It would work for the filing draws and the enchantment table, as if you are modifying your tools.

    In the end it's down to derek and whether he wants to change original textures or not, (along with the fire.)

    Yes, both of the Geiger and clono wools are fixed. In my opinion anyway. I agree with you that the fire needs changing. We will have to consider the use of the flint and steel and the portal. I would go with sparks. Turn the flint and steel into a taser gun. Forcing an electrical current on the portal will activate it. The only problem is fitting it in with the nether. I think it will work well with the blaze though. Perhaps the Ghast malfunctioned and that is why there is sparks all over the place.

    Then we have the problem of fire spread in the overworld. I can't really see sparks tearing down buildings. So we have what's called a dilemma . Do we change the texture and risk ruining the lore, or do we keep the fire and just cope with it not looking right. I think it should be up to dereksmith to decide.

    ROBOTS are the base of last days, If you ask me it needs more robots. The lore is based around a robotics corporation.
    I agree that the villages need some loving.
    Zombies shouldn't be raiders.

    I am finally able to create a server for Last Days. Unfortunately, it will be a small whitelisted server. It will be able to hold 8 people at a time, but I will whitelist more, as the likeliness of all 8 people being on at once will be low. What I wanted to know is how you guys would want the server to be set up. I have a few basic ideas of how it could work:

    1) A vanilla survival server. Everyone plays how they want to play, no plugins and no changes. We would just join at a spawn structure, kinda like a hub to travel to each persons area.

    2) Creative. Basic really.

    3)PvP: we could have fractions and fight. There would be basic rules like no griefing, but stealing and raiding would be fine. I know of a few plugins that would be cool for this.

    Basically, I want you to tell me what you want. Give me plugins, themes, rules, anything really. Also anyone that comments regularly on this thread will be instantly whitelisted.

    Fixed for you. you will have to add them manually, unless LordBrigadier adds them to the customiser. But it was an easy fix so here they are.
