Hi, I am requesting a mod to be made that would change specific text to something else in ANY name tag, whether it be a player's nametag over their head, or one created with HolographicDisplays, etc. Any nametag that is loaded client-side would be parsed by this mod for a specific string, such as "Villager", and when that text is found, it is replaced with something else, such as "Dweller". Preferably this could happen a few tiicks after the nametag is made, as a plugin may make changes to the nametag a tick or two after being created.
I would like the input and output text to be configurable, though if they're not able to be then that is fine. Any additional info needed will be provided. I write plugins, however haven't gotten in to modding.
Hi, I made a video a few months ago that shows how to set up multi-server economy using a MySQL database. It uses Vault, and iConomy hooks in to Vault so it will work. In the video I use Essentials Economy instead, but as far as set up goes it'll be the exact same.
It sounds like you are running this on your computer, would you mind pasting what is inside your run.dat file? (Whatever you use to run the server, it should look something like "java -Xms1G -Xmx2G -jar spigotw18.jar -o true").
Flying 24,000 blocks up would most likely not crash your server anymore than walking around would. If anything you'd be so far away from the ground that the chunks wouldn't be loaded for you therefore saving RAM
I was going to say maybe your computer isn't powerful enough, but I noticed that you have a 4770k.
Hi, I am wondering if someone would be able to help me with Votifier & vote rewards on a Bungee network. Though I have experience with running/managing/setting up Minecraft servers, I have not used Votifier before, and I have tried to set it up to no avail. If you think you'd be able to help and have experience with Bungee & vote rewards then please add me on Skype.
I'm 18, and have a high-quality microphone. I also don't have any background noise and am a quick learner. Hopefully this contributes to wanting to helping me!
I have the same problem. I have tried eveything here and it still regenerates. When I did /tw toggle revertexp it said "Invalid "revertexp" property." Any ideas?
Well I'm kinda late but you did "/tw toggle revertexp" not "/tw toggle revertexpl".
Awesome! I just bought a 3D banner and it was very well done. Great service, nice and simple. I would definitely recommend PlatniumPanda to make your banner, as I find that it is VERY important to have an appealing banner
Thank you for the detailed reply, though I believe my server runs on CentOS. I'm not completely sure about it though. I had said zip, though I guess I meant anything that would compress all the files to one and make it in to a smaller file for downloading.
Hi, I'm looking for a plugin that can backup my server (preferably scheduled). I have seen a few plugins that allow for world backup, however I am looking for one that backs up everything(World(s), plugin folder, whitelist, server.properties, etc.). I also hope that it can compress the backup in to a zip folder if possible! Hopefully someone is able to help me out.
What I'd recommend you do is change your donation ranks so that instead of them being added to a group, they have all the permissions added to them. So your Buycraft would give them permission to do /hat, /kittycannon, and /broadcast, or something (as an example). But let's say someone starts abusing /broadcast and is spamming profanities, then you are able to remove that permission from the player and not the rank entirely. This also helps for when staff (or anyone) donates, as it doesn't affect what they have currently, but adds on to it. You can also make it so that it gives them a prefix or suffix or whatever you want. Good luck!
I have 8Gbs of Ram, the CPU and RAM it's not the problem.
What CPU does your server run on? Having a lot of RAM will not fix a lag-related problem. Lag can be caused by having too many plugins that will put a strain on your processor, or having a bad connection to the server. As garlotch has said, check out those plugins. They may help. I will say that Towny is a huge pain in the ass when it comes to CPU consumption, and having MV-Core on your server may not help much. At one point I had Towny and some mini games (Spleef, Survival Games, Capture the Flag) on my server, and it would lag. What I did was set up a BungeeCord server and moved the mini games to there. It took a LOT of strain off of the Towny server, and allowed it to run a lot smoother. I would also advise you to try and remove plugins that you do not use, or are hardly used.

Just get BungeePortals on your BungeeCord server.
Instructions are on their spigot page.

Please use http://pastebin.com when posting logs.
Also, if it's giving you that much trouble then you should consider taking a look at A SkyBlock http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/skyblock/ and see if you like it.

If you do not have default port I can assist you in making it so that people don't have to join mc.yourdomain.com:port
