    If Mojang stopped adding things, people would get bored. It seems these days there's hate for literally everything that is added into the game. In truth, the type of content in updates hasn't really changed that much. (Though I would say that the combat update and the 1.13 updates do seem to be a little different)
    I think that the new textures are better, they look smoother, more refined, and will be more consistent. I will agree that it takes away from some nostalgia though.

    I've been playing since beta 1.7, and honestly, I don't think the kind of content being added has changed that much, new mobs, new blocks, etc...
    I honestly don't think the game is THAT hard, in fact, they've made some stuff easier by adding the recipe book.
    For example, how has the edition of concrete blocks made the game harder?
    I understand your position, but mojang has to keep adding content, otherwise people will get bored and inevitably, whatever that content is, the game will strive further from the simplistic form it once was.

    Can't be sure, but it SHOULD run, the game runs on most pc/laptops these days. If the frame-rate isn't great he could also try the windows 10 edition of the game, which will almost certainly run well since it is programmed much more efficiently in a different language.
    I used to play mc on a computer with 4GB at it worked decently, however an upgrade (if possible) would be recommended.

    If you are talking about the laptop that Arrohmel posted at the top, then this is incorrect. The laptop has an AMD cpu, so cannot have INTEL integrated graphics.
    If it did though, intel integrated graphics, from my experience, is usable for games like minecraft since it is not at all graphically intensive.

    turning off the shadows doesn't seem to change anything, however your GPU shaders appear to work for me, so I'll use them for now. :D

    Hi, your beta, v3 ultra version doesn't seem to be working, and neither does any of the other ultra versions, I'm getting motion blur, but nothing else, no water effects, no shadows, etc, your shader settings are on default. I'm running the latest version of optifine, minecraft 1.9.2
