Sounds cool, but it'll probably only work on brand new computers. It might have a bad problem with new players feeling like they missed the boat. It might lag like crazy, maybe not on release, but when they update it a few times. Once you see one place on the world, you probably will have seen them all.
I think there should be new realm called the tardus realm. You should be able to regenerate, all the world except for the tardus realm. You should be able to use options like seed and world types. You should be able to buy the special blocks, to build the portal from village npc's. If you build a transportation system in the tardus realm, you should have to make it twice the distance of the over world. When you first go to the tardus realm, it should just be a small platform and a return portal. The rest of it should just be void, and you can build onto the small platform.
In this mode, your first original spawn will always be at x=0 and z=0. Sleeping in a bed will still change your spawn, but when you respawn with bed destroyed or obstructed, you will respawn at x=0 and z=0. It will possible to create a world in witch you first spawn in an ocean. When you create a new world the chunks that make up a four chunk by four chunk square around x=0,z=0 will be your base. Your base will at level one.
When you die with a score of 1000, you will have the option to create a base save. When you create a base save, your world will be erased, but you will still have the base save.
You will now be able to create new origin base worlds, with your base at the center. Everything you built in your base will still be there, and all the chest in your base will still have the stuff in them. If you had moved your spawn with a bed, it will move back to the origin. You will be able to use new seeds and world types.
Your base will level up whenever you create a new base save:
Your base will start as level one. It will be a four chunk by four chunk square, centered on the origin.
A level two base will require a level one base and dieing with a score of 1000. It will be a six by six square centered on the origin.
A level three base will require a level two base and dieing with a score of 2000. It will be a six by six square on the origin and a four by four square on x=0 and y=0 in the nether.
The max level for a base will be at level three. You will still be able to keep making base saves, by dieing with a score of 2000.
