Do you understand the rules? (Yes/No):Yes, I fully understand the rules.
How would you rate your building skill?(1-10):8,5 (I have background experience on Iron Creeper server).
Why do you want to join Architektus?: I like the concept of differente worlds, it feels like a safe server and it's overall trustworthy. I'd like to show my building skills and improve the scenery of Architektus.
What worlds will you be allowed to build in once you get the rank of member?:When you are promoted to member you can build on Terra, member+ you can build on Flat and Space, and Kor Members can build in Kor.
What do you think is the most important rule, and why?:The 10th and 11th rules are most essential because they summarise the rest of the rules. Communication is essential, common sense is mandatory.
What is your Minecraft Username? :iTwistGFX
Do you understand the rules? (Yes/No):Yes
How would you rate your building skill? (1-10):5/6
Why do you want to join Architektus? :i like building in minecraft and i like looking at other peoples builds
What worlds will you be allowed to build in once you get the rank of member? :Terra
What do you think is the most important rule, and why? :VI. No racism, sexism, or social discrimination. We accept all kinds here. because its real people you are talking to and the other rules are really for the game. or just plain common sense
What is your IGN? : Same as my name up above and will be in alot of games you meet me by: Dzelda
Do you understand the rules?: Yep. I understand the community too. It sure feels pretty laid back -w-
How would you rate your building skill? (1-10): As long as I have Creative (World Edit is used for more of a speed up in builds) I am ECSTATIC.
Why do you want to join Architektus? : Im looking for some new friends to hang out with and build with. Ive been known to make quite a few interesting builds myself, sure got a lot of memories from em too ^w^
What worlds will you be allowed to build in once you get the rank of member? : Im not picky. Id prefer to be in a more protected world, but Terra looks to be pretty unspoilt by griefers, which is pretty impressive. Terra and Kor Id suppose would be my preferred worlds.
What do you think is the most important rule, and why? : All of them. But more so than the rules is the enforcement method of the rules. Ive served as an Admin/Mod on a few servers with my friends, and the kind of attention you give to the newbies really determines what they think of the server. That said, Im impressed with this servers sense of laid back community spirit, and would love to join up with you folks once in awhile to build, have fun, whatnot.
Post-script: You wanted pictures? Not on your server but what Ive done before. Hope thats not a problem. http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/6805/mageacademy.png
An unfinished work on a friends server, the archetecture was pretty complicated ont he 2F and 3F floors. This is why: http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/112/mageacedemyinside.png
And a few of my earlier works, including the Black Tower from Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages. http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/3751/blacktower.png
Note: This build was done on a survival server wherei had to MINE all that obsidian.(125 stacks of it in fact) Construction took two months, I built a draconic obsidian trough next to a lava mine for the stuff and used various other stacks of rare materials. Thank god I got this snapshot, which really doesnt do it justice, as you do not see the tunnel nor adjoining Worksite which came as scenery in the game. To the left is the campsite where I amassed materials for building.
This is my Bell Tower: http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/4610/belltower.png
My first project, it brings back alot of nostalgia when I see it now. First attempt at trapmaking, where I used floating blocks, ineffective redstone dispenser wiring, and a darfkroom that worked sporadically at best. It has a great view from up top and was made in 1.4 when roses were unrenewable and sheep difficult to find and get wool from. It looks especially beautiful at night, when the torches give it a very distinct glow: http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/4314/belltowerview.png
I use to keep a blog where I would post building tips and pictures of things I've built in the past. I've recently decided to start posting it again and I would like to share it with all of you!
I've always favored exploring natural caverns over strip mining. Never know what you'll find in those dark caves, and plus you don't go through a million pick axes.
Introduction
I've started a blog aiming to help new players in their journey for epic minecraft creations. While 1:1 recreations of the pyramids are nothing short of miraculous (or insanity), they are often way of out reach for new players to have as a goal. I do know that most players will have a humble base dug in the side of a cliff wall, or built out of wooden planks when they first start. The goal of my blog is to offer some tips and tricks for designing these starter bases, using nothing but a few basic tools.
I hope that my blog can be of help to you guys, feel free to email me with any suggestions or ideas for future articles! I welcome all suggestions and criticism.
Have a minecraftastic day!

[12-9-2010] Added a short update for the weekend as I will be out of town. Bonus picture of my secret-but-not-so-secret-anymore-since-I-posted-a-picture project!
[12-7-2010] I've applied a new layout as well as a few other changes to make my blog a little more friendly to users. A new article has been uploaded focusing on stairways.
Topics I have touched on so far in order of posting:

Age : 23
Gender : my gender is optional
What do you plan on Building? : I hope to build an awesome house to start out with and eventually convince other players to build up a little village.
How long have you played MC? : about 3 months
Judging from you not being able to spell you're correctly and capitalizing random words in the middle of a poorly constructed sentence, I would guess you're a kid also.
