    Quote from KiwiHD

I have posted my application on the website along with these forums to ensure a proper viewing by a wider variety of people.

Before you read on; I am posting this as an application knowing that there are guards needed on the server and I am the only active one, so if you would prefer to keep me as a guard for a while 'if' this application is accepted you are more than welcome to. Also, am writing this application in respect that I did just earn the rank of guard, so again if you would prefer to keep me as a guard for a while 'if' this application is accepted you are more than welcome to.

Another side note; I did not find a Moderator Application template to go by, so I am using the guard application, but changing and adding a few things.

    Now, without further a due,

    1) Username (IGN):
    Ga55246

    2) Age:
    16 Years of age.

    3) How long have you been playing on the server?
At this point I am embarrassed to even say how many hours I have put into your server.

    4) Have you read all the server rules?
In order to enforce rules, one must first read them, I have read the rules and know every one.

    5) Do you have any experience on other prison servers?
Yes, I have a lot of experience on other servers, but I specifically love this one.

    6) Time Zone?
    Pacific

    7) What makes you a good Moderator?
I have been a guard and quite friendly to everyone on the server. I am very good at reading the rules. I can help the other players and staff members in any way I can. I will keep players under control, and make sure that they continue to do things within the rules. I am very responsible, trustworthy, and loyal. This is the only server I play on now, and dedicate a lot (too much) of my time to your server, and it is always worth it I enjoy every second of it. I will treat everyone with the respect and civility they deserve.

    8) What is your current rank on the server?
Guard, before that I was in A

    9) Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Lucas, I am a kind person, and I have a passion for gaming. I started playing MineCraft in its mid alpha stages and have enjoyed the game ever since.

    10) Where can we contact you?
80% of the time, when I am not on the server, I am on Xbox, my gamertag is PhreshBreadz, or on Skype, at xxolucasoxx.

    Thank you for your time,
    -Ga

Former Admin and Owner of the server MizCraft, I can tell you this gentleman, Lucas or Ga, is the most loyal, most dedicated staff member I have ever had on my team. I met Lucas back when MizCraft was just launching, almost two years ago, and since then he has not only been a drastic impact on my personal life, but also on my professional reputation as a server owner. I hold him in the highest esteem in regards to getting the job done and getting it done well. Do not let his age fool you, for this young man has the IQ and maturity level of those well into their 30's.
His quality of work and many hours dedicated to my server, was what made MizCraft possible. Any turn of event, any ounce of trouble was repulsed and solidified when Lucas came into the situation. I almost never had a problem out of any other players when he was online. The players on my server held him in the utmost respect not only as a dedicated player and supporting member of the MizCraft Community but as a renown, loyal, trusted, and delegated Administrator of the Staff. He was never shy to help a new player find his way. He was never afraid of failure to step in and take control of a situation getting out of hand and resolve it calmly, cooly, and collectively.

This wording is completely biased based on previous performance for his months served not only as Administrator but the long months building up, his hard work paying off, to be able to be led on to bigger and better things than MizCraft. In regards to Mr Lucas, there is no doubt in my mind as to whether or not I would accept him gracefully and purposefully into the arms of Administration again. His career on my server was remarkably phenomenal and I'd recommend him as an asset needed for any successful Minecraft server.

Am I able to use this mod using Forge if I have other mods that use Modloader? Will the other mods still work with Forge and modloader? If not, and I uninstall Modloader, will they work with Forge?

The other mods I'm talking about are Rei's Minimap and Timber.

posted a message on Essentials sign kits - Need help
I've built a PvP arena on my server and want people to be able to use a sign out front of the arena in order to get PvP gear. I want the only way to get the kit is by clicking the sign, not by typing /kit PvP <--- name of the kit.

Now, in my essentials config I have removed the "#" in front of "- Signs", so it's enabled, and the kit works because I can click the sign to get the kit but noone else can.

Also, this is the permission node Essentials says to give " - Essentials signs.use.kit", now I've given that permission to my lowest rank, which should allow all my members to use the sign. I've also experimented by doing " - Essentials signs.use.kit.pvp" and " - Essentials signs.use.pvp" just experimenting. The way my sign looks is:
    [kit]
    pvp
    Everyone

On the wiki, it says that if I put "Everyone" it overrides the need for a permission node such as " - Essentials signs.use.kit" and yet my members still can't use the sign. However, I've tried it without "Everyone" and with it, but it still isn't working.

Oh, I also tried essentials.kit.pvp and it would let my members do /kit pvp but they could not get the same kit from the sign. What's up with that?
This is quoted from the Essentials' sign tutorial on kits:
"If you do not set a group, the user will be checked for the essentials.kit.<kitname> permission.
Setting the group to 'Everyone' or to a group name, will allow the sign to be used without the kit permission, and allows for sign only kits."

    Heres my Essentials' config.yml

posted a message on Transferring builds?
Hey, I spent 3 days building the castle modeled after the castle in King's Landing in Game of Thrones. I built the castle on a superflat world so I was wondering if there was a way to transfer the build to my survival world using a third party program such as a mod or MCedit? Is any of this possible or will I have to build it all again? -.-

    Thanks.

If it's just for looks then just do the outside of it if it's not meant to be taken seriously on the inside. :)

Something about yourself: I'm a mature player so you don't have to worry about me griefing or being annoying. I'm basically looking for a new server to play on and meet some new people. I have ran two successful servers, the first lasting a little over a year and the second about 4 months, I have been playing since Alpha 1.2 and would consider myself a pretty good builder, but not very good with redstone :x

posted a message on Help with lightning
I'm not quite sure what you're asking if it's help with a mod or just the general game, but lightning occurs in thunderstorms and they're completely random, they're also different than rain storms. So just because it rains, doesn't mean it's suppose to lightning.

posted a message on Mountain Castle!
It's kind of hard to see since the mountain is stone and the castle is stone brick, a bit of contrast in the color would have been nice.
