    Anyway, I'll have the .png uploaded later for those interested.

    zomg do it!
    I really hate doing ores, as you can tell, been through about 6 variations.
    And im totally a old dude

    I redid a few thing last night, somehow i messed up the sand, so readded texture to it.
    and FFFFFFFFFed over how the block textures are seamless on the sides but on top totally ****ed up
    I tired to make all the sides of the blocks identical but it really didn't look right
    I will have to make them brick by brick i guess
    Got frustrated and gave up for a while :Zombie:

    Will do! I used a stone set from another package that I just FELL in love with but I enhanced his more but keeping your seamless stone background. They have a nice 2D look to them so I know you'll approve :smile.gif:

    Spent a good 2Hrs on them, and the new blue mineral, and it's amazing. Then I updated your workbench with one I have loved for so long, as it's very fitting to the game (but that's my opinion) :smile.gif:

    I'm really, really enjoying your textures though. It's honestly a blast playing the game with your artwork. Then I installed the mod for better shoadows........ IT'S NOT MINECRAFT ANYMORE! It's more like AWESOMECRAFT hehe, so ya, I love it!

    I'll get the .png uploaded later tonight :smile.gif:

    Copper if you have the time and can put this in 128x128 I will KISS YOU! I'm sure that this will require making it from scratch mostly, but I would love to see Notch's Minecraft default textures in high-res :smile.gif:

    Good job on the 32x32!

    posted a message on Seamless 128x128 texture pack 2.2 (1-20)
    For those of you who do not like the Minerals that Puppytime used in her (I think it's a her?) texture package I have updated it using her seamless background blocks for a newer look. I have also updated the workbench (I wasn't fond of the one she used, looks like a cabinet in a kitchen to me hehe)

    I will do a few more adjustments and upload it later today. Don't Worry though! I have hardly touched her awesome seamless design, as I love that about this package. I played on this texture package for some time last night and I am really in love with it. When you turn on AA & AF with Vsynce, just WOW. This texture packet pops out like no other.

    Anyway, I'll have the .png uploaded later for those interested.

    I was just getting ready to reply to you about this.

    I found something enteresting with my system about AA & AF in Minecraft. It simply will not work and kick on. But I assumed you would provide screen shots and prove me wrong, so I did something else to help FORCE it on.

    Minecraft.exe isn't really the application that runs, it's a starter app for the game then offloaded into Java (per-say) After that it then shots off and the application actually running is javaw.exe (32bit Java). So I went and told that application to "override application . . ." and it kicked on the AA & AF.

    That doesn't make sense to me. Are you overriding Minecraft.exe or the javaw.exe ?
    i went in my nvidia control panel and enabled 32x AA and it says override application, so it does it for any game on my system.

    Ya for some reason I wasn't so lucky and had to do it to the javaw.exe file :/

    However I am running Windows XP 65bit and this could be why (I dual boot with Win765bit, but Nvidia doesn't know how to remove game stutters for people running dual monitors and Vsync in their drivers ---- which is why I run my games in WinXP64bit)

    AA doesn't work in the game, yet. You won't notice any difference on or off

    AA does work, my game doesn't have jaggies anymore.

    Screen shot it and I'll show you the jagged edges

    Thanks for the response, and Im glad you like the minerals seeing as that is one of the ones I did myserlf = )

    As far as the door is concerned the better half had pointed that out right after I let her have it ... the texture pack.

    I dont know if you have an image editing program but I did include a wooden door with a window if you would like to replace the default door.

    Thanks Again!

    That I do, Adobe CS5. I'll swap those doors out. Thank you! :smile.gif:

    Not bad, I like it and I'm playing with it now for fun :smile.gif:

    One thing I can say though is that I had doors with no window of some sort, it's bad for beginners who need to see the daylight outside to know when it's safe (if they don't make any windows in time that is)

    Other than that, it's nicely put together. Just make sure you mention all those you borrowed from (textures)

    I love textures where the Minerals are brighter and have some UMPH to them. Many out there are very flat like images with dullness, yours are nice.

    Good job! :smile.gif:

    Thought I'd add this for the coders from information I found, which is provided on the link about:
    - if you've sent a texture to GL and you don't need it anymore in the
    app, be sure to free it up from the application. Ex:

    char *p = myApp.getTextureData();

    glBind(..);
    glTexImage2D( ..., p );

    myApp.freeTextureData( p ); //free up the application's copy

    If you forget to do this, you can easily find yourself using TWICE the
    texture memory required.

    Hey guys, upon having researched some issues with my game lately I found something a little interesting about OpenGL out of memory errors I have been having.

    Post about this:
    viewtopic.php?f=17&t=77049&p=2052260#p2052260

    Is this adjustable via the mincraft.jar file somewhere ?

    Has anyone else seen this error before when closing out Minecraft? I tried increasing the memory to Java but that of course didn't help. Is this an OpenGL memory error ?
