    I had the same problem near the end on my first run. From my understanding, it's a general minecraft bug. Closing and reopening minecraft usually fixes it, though it may be worth reinstalling the map to hear the dialogue from the beginning.

    So excited to play this! I'll probably be back after playing with final thoughts.


    EDIT: I'm back, and I must say, I highly recommend this map. I can honestly say that it's probably the best map I've ever played (and yes, I am taking stuff like Hypixel's maps into account). It was interesting how you were able to explain and rationalize R3D's motives and intentions to the point where I ended up siding with him (from the last map's events before playing this, I thought I would watch the world burn before joining him). That's about as much as I can say without dropping a ton of spoilers, though I did run into a bug near the end. It didn't affect the game much, but it could be annoying if you don't know it's coming.



    Throughout the game, I ended up taking the path of following R3D and Monroe and seeing Genesis launch. At the end though, Sarah was silent at the scene outside the capital building after I chose to side with R3D. This might just be a minecraft bug, but it was working in the short cutscene just before choosing a side. I still could get the gist of what was happening by the dialogue choices I was given, but I still don't know exactly what she said. After killing the Phoenix, I logged out of minecraft and logged back in, and the rest of the voiced dialogue worked from there.


    In any case, it was a great map and a fitting end to the series. At this point, i'm probably going to replay it a few times to try to see all the endings.

    Ok, there is another way to access the contents of a zip file without an outside program. Just right click on the .zip file and select "Extract All...". After that, just choose a destination for the contents of the zip file to be copied, and windows itself will copy whatever is in the zip file into another location.

    Winzip is free to download and works with .zip files (99.9% of maps these days). Just download that and follow this set of instructions.


    1. Find the map on the forums and click the download link.

    2. If it takes you to an adfly page, wait for 5 seconds and a yellow message will appear in the top right corner. Click it.

    3. Click the green download button in about the center of your screen (assuming the page that came up is mediafire). A download will begin. The downloaded file should be something like [insert map name here].zip (though it could be a .rar file as well).

    4. Using winzip (which is free), open the file. There will usually be one folder inside.

    5. Copy the folder inside the zip to your minecraft saves directory (if you don't know where to find that, type %appdata% into file explorer and click on the .minecraft folder. Once inside the .minecraft folder, there will be several folders inside of it. Go into saves. This is where you want to copy that folder from the zip file.

    6. Start minecraft and check your single player worlds. If all went correctly, the map should be there.


    Note that the directory I gave for finding the .minecraft folder works on windows, but might not work on mac/linux (I haven't tested).

    I think I may have run into a bit of a problem.



    I found the key to the portal in the ice place (idk what the proper spelling is and don't want to butcher it), so I entered the portal and came out in a shop area. There is an obsidian portal on either side of the room, but both are blocked by barrier blocks, and there doesn't seem to be any way out of the room. Do I just have to wait, am I blind, or is this a bug?


    EDIT: One of the portals activated while I was typing that, so it looks like I just had to wait.


    On a side note, what's the minimum render distance that this will work on? The map sometimes has lag spikes, but I'm afraid that turning down my render distance too much will break it.

    It would all depend on the arena and preparation time. In hand-to-hand combat, Aiden has a far stronger weapon. If the white pumpkin was given preparation time, however, she could rig the arena full of traps that probably wouldn't give Aiden a chance.

    I started the map, and I'm stumped on what to do in Chapter 2. I'm currently at the point where


    Dok says there is an anomaly with the sensory deprivation chamber, then figures out who you are. I also got the missile, but have no idea what it's for.


    I loved the first two in the series, and this one is no different, but I have literally no idea how to progress.

    posted a message on EXODUS SEASON 1: Zombie Apocalypse (REMASTERED EDITION) [VOICEACTING] [MUSIC] [1.9] [NEW AREAS] [MUCH MORE]

    So I just finished the remastered version of season 1. I have to say, you've improved it by a lot since its first release. However, I did notice a bug in the final boss. When I finished off the boss, the attacks kept going, as if nothing had happened. I don't like to admit to cheating, but I did a /testfor @e and found that the cause was the dummy R3D that kept teleporting around the map following the player. After doing a /kill @e[name=R3D], the game ended as it usually would. Again, I think you improved it quite a bit from the last version (my favorite 2 bits were R3D following you around and the block snake parkour), but I figured I should probably let you know of this glitch.


    PS: Can't wait for Season 3

    Perhaps the AttackTime tag may help? If my understanding is correct, that can be used in the summon command to change how long the mob's invincibility shield after being hit lasts (as you said, it's 10 ticks at default). Here is the syntax: /summon [mob type] [x] [y] [z] {AttackTime:"[value]"}, where value is the number of ticks the invincibility after being hit will last for. I hope this helps!


    PS: there are no actual brackets in the syntax, that's just me pointing out where to put something that may not be definitive.

    What role you want to be (Zombie, friendly NPC, etc.): either a friendly NPC or (arguably) a minor boss.
    Why you want to be featured as an NPC in this map: It sounds like an interesting idea, and I quite literally never see good maps of this genre anymore and would like someone to revive the genre (they seem to be getting better, but a good hack/slash style map is still a rarity these days)

    Just got it to work. Looks like a render distance of 8 wasn't enough for it to work, so that must have been what I did wrong. Thanks!


    EDIT: Just finished the map (got the igor ending). I poked around in the redstone a bit and found the count ending, but I notice that it says there are 3 endings to the map. Might I ask about what the third was? The map itself was pretty good (especially liked the armor stands in the rainbow puzzle room). My only real complaint was that it was a bit short, but I can respect that considering this was made in a single month. Overall, it was a pretty good map (though I don't know if it really counts as horror).
