This may not be a bug, but stray cats are only spawning in freshly generated villages. To date, I have not seen any stray cats in villages that existed prior to the update, nor any stray cats spawn in player created villages.

The entire issue boils down to the amount of Memory we have available.
The UI tool we use on all platforms (Excluding 360) drains a massive amount of memory - It's only really apparent on PS3 however.
A few members of the team have spent the past 4-6 months writing a custom UI that massively decreases the amount of memory used when it comes to drawing our UI scenes. -

That said, I'm still really glad to see that the PS3 Edition is still receiving updates. It is no doubt one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult platform that Minecraft is currently developed for. I know it'll be time to let go at some point, but I hope it will be supported through 2018 (which will be five years, give or take). In an era of yearly reskins, freemium garbage, and blatant cash-grabs, $20 for nearly half a decade of continued support/updates is something taken for granted.

When the 1.43 update drops saving the world will show the seed again.

I find ever since I switched to PS4 things have been better. Still, a little laggy when massive item storage comes into play, but way better. To be fair, MCCE was released when the PS3 platform could actually sustain it. And I can only imagine what the PS3 community would be saying if they didn't include any updates past TU19. Then you'd be complaining about no more updates. Can't make them all happy. If you don't like the company or their product anymore, then you know where the exit is right? I am still enjoying the Survival mode gameplay. No, I don't care much for the mini games either, but others actually do and you can't disrespect somebody for liking them.
You say you keep saying 4J Studios is a useless company, and you've said it again and again. But yet you keep coming back for more. I don't understand that if a person hates something so much they keep ranting about something that obviously won't be fixed, why don't you just delete your user account on here, eject the game and be done with it while the rest of us enjoy the game even WITH its flaws.
The only one that's starting to look like a fool is you IMO.

Whenever I 'Quit' the game to the XMB Menu the system crashes and hard reboots itself. (This is obviously not good for the Playstation System)
It now happens literally every time I Quit the game to the Playstation 3's XMB menu since the TU 43 release. I have not had a sucessful Quit of the game without it Hard Rebooting.
I am playing Survival world (Old world), default texture on a PS3 Slim and I will save game and THEN exit. (Not Save and Exit) and then Press and hold the PS Button to Quit the Game. The black screen shows saying please wait...... and then the system crashes and automatically hard reboots itself.
This needs to be fixed as soon as possible because it's not good for the console at all.

No sir're! Nope, I do not like it. You're right. Not liking that solution one bit.
But, I'll probably give it a try anyway lol.
PS: I built Mumbo's also in another world. Same issue with lighting, so it never worked like it should have.
Well, I better go mine a shiitake load of sand now.

I built a Mob Grinder and within it there are no lighting sources, It's like the light is passing right through the Solid blocks (Not half slabs) and lighting up the entire inside of the mob farm. It is at the top of the map. It should be completely dark inside it but it's like the blocks are emitting their own light source (No, they're not lanterns or glow stone blocks).
This bug is rendering the mob grinder pretty useless during the day. Works fairly well at night but not as well as it should.
Bug Reported at https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCCE-2102 for those who wish to add their vote to the Mojang bug reporting site and/or add their lighting bug findings to help get this bug resolved.

I was just exploring a new seed in Creative mode (Online Mode Single Player, Default Texture) and after about an hour and a half of roaming around, the screen goes black and a message saying, ""Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition" has failed to load, and cannot continue." And caused the system to hard reboot when using the PS3 Button to quit out of the game.

Post in the comments there as much info on what you were doing at the time it happened. Also include what mode you were playing. Single Player, multi? Online/offline, skin pack, DLC?? so on.
Keep it bug related, and keep the ranting and complaining to the forums if you feel the need as that site is for Bug reporting only, not a discussion.
