A new version has been uploaded that should fix most of the issues people have been reporting. Thanks to everyone helping out the mod while I can't do such. :3

How do I show the latest version of a mod regardless of alpha/beta/release tag?

rChon: Hammers have to be slow due to their extended range.

adsy9: Ic2 support was removed when the mod turned into something else. Experimental is not IC2 - It's IC3.

KJP12: 1.7.2 was chock full of bugs, both in mods and Forge.

    negativezero09: You need Forge 1185+

    BloodwishZero: Update the mod.

rubenanders: Openeye can go die in a fire. I won't take crashlogs that are so neutered they're pointless.

I also see optifine in this crashlog. I don't take logs with optifine in them.

Okay. Ignore my first post. Lol I did read and I do have to re-new the world to update the chunks with the new ores and such for Tinkers. Does anyone know a way I can maybe reload the chunks without losing my buildings? I worked my butt off on my castle/underwater lab and I would hate to lose all that work...

TConstruct does not require custom worldgen to use 99% of the content.

That would be none unless you play FTB: Unstable. mDiyo's hatred for 1.7.2 has reached critical mass, so no asking for real downloads or support for it... unless those painkillers for his arm are amazing.

The painkillers don't help the ache of deep sore healing. That said, I'm not sure why people are still asking for 1.7.2 when 1.7.10 is here. Isn't newer and less buggy better than older? 1.6.4 is very stable as well.

My arm is broken. I won't be able to respond properly or fix things for awhile. Other people will be able to make changes, and the mod is open source, so things should get fixed eventually.

My hand isn't broken though. I can still make rude hand signals, just not bend my elbow.

Most of the content from the experimental version should be decided and ported forward now. As it was experimental, some parts were worth having and others weren't. It may be buggy; Go forth and test my minions!

Knapsacks should be fixed, by the way.

Nick_777ab2: Would you like to make armor? The mod is open source: https://github.com/SlimeKnights/TinkersConstruct

DamnThatCreeper: Railcraft's hidden blocks are a problem for everyone who uses the mod. I'm not aware of anyone who likes them.

Manan6619: The pickmattock was a tool made by someone who wanted a pick/shovel/hoe. After a bit of testing, it was obvious this would invalidate the mattock and pickaxes.

As for the glowstone part, textures exist. Someone might be willing to code in dynamic lighting. :P

reaper0816: There are no plans to implement steel or green heart canisters.

TurloLomon: Achivements are gone. I never liked them and they were broken during the update.

BrianSki: I'd be willing to add the IC2 compatibility if I didn't have to deal with IC3.

    Geodude6: Weapons are still tools...

LucetLux: Do not spread that link around. I do not want to support 1.7.2 and too many people already ask for bugfixes, backports, and other junk.

Broonfondle: You're reporting bugs that have been fixed in a later version of Minecraft... for an unsupported version. Where's my slow clap machine...

Mechworks has been updated to 1.7.10. Forge is still a bloody mess, but I'll take current bloody mess over 8 month old version. This version may be full of bugs... more testing is required. Have fun~

MetaMeow: Pattern chests are getting a new model sometime soon. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Epic_Incarnate: Rings and amulets were removed in favor of more hearts.

MetaMeow: If you still have the crashlog between TConstruct and Carpenter Blocks, I would like to see it.

None of the controls have been added properly in 1.7.10.

cydog2001: You're one of the few people that has noticed a feature that has been around since TCon 1.3. It is quite intentional. You have 50 repairs before the tool only repairs 50%, and the more modifiers it has the less it repairs as well.

Bugfixes, so many bugfixes! There's still a few things left to do, such as controls not working yet, but all of it is new content. Old content should be up to date and ready to go now. :3

If you see an error like this: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: tconstruct/smeltery/blocks/GlassPaneConnected or java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: tconstruct/tools/items/Manual

This means one of two things: The download is corrupt or another mod is erroring at the coremod stage. Make sure you grab a fresh download before you report the error. If that doesn't work, TConstruct also has a coremod. I'm not sure why it tends to stop loading on this mod's face but you can probably figure it out by taking out the mod, seeing what errors, and if nothing does it's an incompatibilty. Search out other mods and whack them with a stick!

Blinzer2: Hearts can be changed in your texture pack.

skullzbeast: Adventure mode breaking is an unfixable bug. Mojang's code for adventure mode is completely incompatible with tools that can choose their own mining level.

cydog2001: Villagers should be fixed now.

MadGrin: 4 blanks per craft is intentional.

NomNomPacMan: Estimates for a stable version in 1.7.10 are 24 hours longer because you asked.

PkfireAlpha: Would it kill you to read the first post? Use your browser's search function perhaps?

MokahTGS: That's an odd error. That's going to require a bit of futzing to fix...

    nintendude1236: On a scale of 1 to 10, TConstruct stability should be 9. Bug-free-ness should be 4.

corinanth: Seared Stone was always intended to be made from grout. The fact that you can make it at all from cobblestone is a bonus and a sink for having a bazillion cobble laying around. 18 cobble is 2 full layers in the Smeltery.

Regarding your signature: I must be responsible for millions of dead kittens by now.

skylord_jonas: It's the same fortune enchant. Whatever difference you're seeing is RNG based.

RepoDraghon: The last time I read the suggestion thread someone suggested that mattocks should be buckets and throwable. Needless to say I don't read it anymore.

XavierBronyXIII: The first one was missing Mantle, the second one is a problem in EnderIO.

skullzbeast: TConstruct has never respected "adventure" mode. Mojang has changed it to spectator mode, so we'll see how that goes.

    xH3LLRAIZ3Rx: You're missing Mantle.

It's so much more fun to make videos than it is to fix bugs. I find myself updating slowly, fixing bugs a couple at a time instead of knocking them all out. It also doesn't help that I'm still playing on 1.6.4, where mods are still stable. Bugs will get fixed... eventually.

If anyone wants to fix things themselves, please do. https://github.com/SlimeKnights/TinkersConstruct

juress: The FPS drop from Smelteries is a known bug. It only happens when something changes or you have a bazillion liquids in the main structure though.

Texedo: Sure, I'll add enchantments. Just add a bit of redstone, throw on some lapis, a silky jewel...

stoneinfocus: Tools are nigh indestructible on purpose. I would need a very good reason to add a config option to make them not so.

Chibifain: Mechworks is in a transitional phase between 1.7.2 and 1.7.10. Give it time, it will come.

TakerOfBoxes: The wings are made with 4 bronze, 2 gold, and an ender pearl.

I do not want to support 1.7.2. It's an outdated version of MInecraft with a bunch of rendering problems that were fixed in the very next patch, yet Forge was stuck on it for 8 months. The difference between the recommended and the latest version of Forge is large enough that it breaks a good deal of mods, the recommended version has the ore dictionary backwards compared to every other version, and there have been many other things that break mods throughout the time Forge spent on 1.7.2.

I was planning on leaving well enough alone. The sheer number of people asking where 1.7.2 is, why it's not supported, and demanding backports was too much. The current links are for my sanity; the alternative is to report every single person that merely asks where 1.7.2 is as asking for backports.

Besides, the 1.7.2 versions of TConstruct are full of memory leaks. Do you really want buggy mods that will eventually crash your game?

TConstruct also has a coremod in it. If a coremod from 1.7.2 clashes with mine, then what you see is bound to happen even if TConstruct looks like it's the one at fault.

I have a whole host of similar bug reports. The only common theme behind them is "1.7.2 coremod on 1.7.10".

The "Tinkers' Construct wiki" is not official. I do not use it, nor is it up to date with the latest changes. The only official source of information for the mod is the mod itself and its in-game books.

Knightnegro5: You want custom tools in a mod about custom tools... wish granted?

Pommimees: rblocks.core.RotationLogic.getIcon(RotationLogic.java:187) <-- is the problem, not TConstruct. Any "world corruption" comes from a mod doing things it should never do.

MKilljoy: There isn't anything that TConstruct does that should make your game freeze. Bouncycastle is Mojang code, not mine.

Dodge34: Bugs should be reported here.

RepoDraghon: There are a lot of other mods that this one supports out of the box. You'll have to be specific if you want mods to play nice.

Dodge34: You have a 1.7.2 only mod in your pack, probably a coremod.
