    I think the items might benefit from having a white outline to give it a "drawn and cut out" look, as if someone had drawn the item on paper and cut it out roughly. I really love the aesthetics of this pack though. It's definately spruced up my village.

    I've had this problem for a while now but forgotten about it as seemingly no-one was able to help the last time I asked and I had given up hope. The problem is that whenever I attempt to connect to a minecraft multiplayer server, the world starts loading, and then stops loading after about 2 or 3 chunks have loaded. I then shortly get disconnected to the server. This problem only started upon moving into university accomodation but the tech support guys ASSURE me that it's not on their end.

    I just want to know what is causing minecraft to quickly lose connection to servers and if there's anything that I might be able to do to fix this.

    Ever since I moved to my university accomodation I've been unable to play on any minecraft servers. I can connect just fine to them but after about a second and a few chunks have loaded, chunks load extremely slowly, as do signs, and any movement I make seems to go unrecorded by the server and I'm back where I spawned. The university uses something called "Resnet" to connect to the internet and I'm worried it's an issue with the network restricting access to the application. If it was restricting access though, I don't know why it'd even be able to connect at all or load any chunks.

    I'm at the University of Surrey. I will probably try contacting the IT department if no-one else can give any solutions. I'm sure at least one of them plays minecraft.

    I've always wanted to be able to have coloured glass in minecraft but I was always worried that the coloured sand would look silly, and I didn't want it to be crafted from glass as that makes no sense.

    On a side note. Legos is not a word, it's a spanish town (probably). The correct term is lego bricks. But lego as the plural is also acceptable. . The more you know.

    There is a recipe conflict with the slopes mod and with the betterblocks fences recipe. Could you possibly change the recipe...

    I understand that you don't wish to add additional textures to this game, however due to my texture pack the hatches look silly. Could you possible make the mod look for a certain image file in the texture pack zip and use that instead of the door texture if it finds it, but default to the door texture if it's not found. This would allow the mod to function without additional textures but additional textures can be added if you want.

    This mod is fantastic however could you possibly change the trapdoor texture to that of wood planks/iron block as they look silly otherwise. Could you also make it so that they align with the top of the block they occupy so trap doors are inconspicuous?

    I believe that this is a brilliant mod however I do have some suggestions and queries.

    My first suggestion involves tree colour. I understand that having all trees as golden would be an eyes sore however I, like many other posters here, believe green trees to appear too terrestrial. Perhaps if the common trees had light blue leaves (as long as they're distinguishable from the sky) it would add to the mystical feel of the dimension.

    My second suggestion is that bronze sentries shouldn't cause blocks to phase. I don't have first hand experience of this so I cannot comment earnestly however from what I gather I believe it wouldn't be very good.

    My queries are regarding ores; are you intending on adding any minable ores in the aether realm? ...and regarding the nether. You mentioned you planned to add content to the nether to balance it. Do you have any plans on what to add or will you cross that bridge when you come to it?

    Even though this is unlikely to be read I thought I'd give my opinions.

    First off, I think the freezer idea isn't very good and I don't support it's implementation. I also think the ridiculously long mining times for hell trees is bad. However the heat repelling effect of the hell trees is a good idea (i'm imagining lava turning to cobble and obsidian if it's too close) however I think ghast fire balls should be able to hit in proximity.

    Zombie pigmen should definately be neutral in my opinion however I do support the addition of lava monsters (hope they will pop up from lava when you least expect it) the archers (perhaps poison will be inneffective until your armour is destroyed or if you're wearing a certain type of armour), imps and shades.

    The soulplasm shouldn't pull you down I believe but I think it's a good idea however could use a purpose. I had an idea that perhaps minor treasures could be hidden at the bottom of soulplasm pits.

    The idea of a portal network, I believe, isn't very good as people should have to travel where they want to go. What would be the point of minecarts if you can just fling yourself back and forth on teleporters wherever you wish to go. However a use of them could be to transport you to some random part of the map within a certain distance. It would be useful as a last minute escape plan and would be good for adventuring as you don't know where you'll end up. Teleporting like this however should destroy the teleporter.

    All the other ideas I believe are great and wish to see them implemented. regarding flame axes, perhaps harvesting terrestrial trees would provide charcoal. Would killing a pig with a lava sword cause it to drop cooked meat?

    Anyway, this is a great thread full of ideas, although not all are winners.

    A couple of suggestions.

    1: Redstone blocks in my opinion should be a sandy, gravity affected block seeing as redstone dust is used to make it. You could perhaps add the ability to cook these blocks to make solid non-gravity affected blocks. I haven't checked but do the redstone blocks carry a current or light up? If they lit up but didn't carry a current I believe it would be very useful in the making of matrix displays.

    2: Lava lamps would be more apropriate if they were made with obsidian I believe. However with only 4 obsian blocks in this configuration

    The texture could be a dark 1-pixel border with an abridged glass texture in the middle.
    I also believe they should only be produced one at a time.

    since I often use half blocks for paths or for floors due to their aesthetics, I find it very irritating having to place 2 half blocks to make a double half-block block. What I want is simply a crafting recipe allowing you to place 1 halfstep above another in the crafting bench or in the inventory crafting area to make a double half-block block. I have searched around as I expected there to already be such a mod but I was unsuccesful.

    A couple of things. I like the idea of more creepers however:
    1, Creepers should drop gunpowder rather than tnt. If you want to give a bigger reward drop more gunpowder.
    2, no mob EVER should be able to start a fire. I LIKE having forests.
    3, Throwing tnt BLOCKS is too powerful. Perhaps a tnt stick item that deals damage similar to that of a ghast fireball without causing fire.

    I do however like everything else about the mobs, especially the chase mechanic of the red creepers and ensuing suicide.
