Developers of popular mods are able to make a substantial amount of revenue by posting their mods on download sites such as adfly. The more people that go through these sites to download the mod, the more money the developer will make. It's not as if servers can't combat x-ray users, there are plenty of x-ray prevention plugins.
Yeah man, that is also what I think for the motivation--adfly kickback. There has been plugins to stop Xray and I had been installed it on my server. But leave the side effect alone (takes up extra CPU horsepower), these plugins can't stop xray completely. They can still use flying mode for 5 sec, or spotted cave and dungen(not ores though).
And for some readers, I am sorry if this offends you, I apologise, but using xray is kinda ruined the fun for other players in the server. I am not trying to force value to you, I am just saying, as a OP, xray is somewhat annoying.
I am pretty sure I am not the first person who bought it up...But why?! What's the purpose of making this cheating mod? People ain't gonna use it in singleplayer and it is made for cheating. I am a server OP and it is quite distributing...
The DOF effect looks wonderful in 1st person POV, but works poorly on 3rd person POV...Do this shade pack have a DOF-free version like other shade pack did?
