Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to safely delete chunks from server maps to purge the unused area? Pretty much I need an easy way to figure out which chunks are being used by my players so I don't accidentally remove those chunks.
I know I can delete chunks with MCEdit but I was thinking something along the lines of the MC MapDeleter , which automatically found and delete unused chunks, which is now broken. I also used to be able to use PixelMap to find where man-made blocks were and work around them but that's broken too now. Is there a way to view specific blocks with MCEdit perhaps?
Motorola Bravo - Works. Plays smoothly. Visually it faintly has those pink grid lines (related to anti-aliasing settings on PC) and looking through ice is a bit wonky.
Edit: I was using the demo before. I bought the full version and those issues went away. Works perfectly.
you dont need to use a subdomain just make sure you dont run the minecraft server on port 80
The server's on the default port of 25565. To clarify, I bought a shared webhost account, the hosting isn't actually coming from my machine at all. I still don't get how to do it. :-/
I know some sites have it set up where their main website is the same as their MC server IP address. How do they send browsers to the website and the MC client to the game server using the same address? Whenever I try to forward my domain the website also points towards my PC's IP address. I have my own hosting with cPanel for the website and I use my PC to run the SMP server.
Edit: I have it set up on a subdomain now (mc.myurl.com). I want it so 'myurl.com' works as both the website and the MC server IP.
Agreed with everyone. I would also really like it if we didn't have to click three-hundred bajizion times to get a stack of 64 Wooden Planks. Like if we held down "shift + click" it would take our 10 Wood and turn it into 40 Wooden Planks, just for an example.
Click both the left and right buttons on your mouse at the same time when using the crafting table. Makes it go twice as fast.
How far away from spawn were you about when this was happening? Check your server.properties for the 'spawn-protection' field. Does it have a big number?
I heard from my friend that if you hack too much on Survival Single Player, your account will be lost and banned and can not be used again. He claims this happened to him. Is it true?
Hacked in what way? Using InvEdit? No, your friend is a moron.

Disregard. Somehow got an old version of IT and it wasn't work. 1.63 works!

I'm asking how you DON'T use a subdomain, but rather just the main domain.
