    posted a message on Extreme framerate drops when placing blocks in a specifc singleplayer wordl
    I don't know what to even say, one of my creatives saves is having a huge lagspike whenever I place/break a block, but it won't seem to happen on any other saves. I mean huge, if I have everything set to the bare minimum and FPS set to unlimited, I'll go from 500fps to 30 for a moment, and if I lower the limit of FPS I'll still get horrible drops. And it's only on one save, if I quit that and go to another, it doesn't happen.
    Specs: FX-6100 6-core processor; 8gb DDR3 ram (2gb allocated for Minecraft); GeForce GTX 650ti GPU, 2gb DDR5; 1920x1080 resolution; Windows 7 64-bit.
    I'm thinking of going into MCEdit and copying all my builds to a new save file if I can't get this fixed.

    Getting invisible rain in the 1.7.5 version with Optifine. Already tried removing the "discard;" line 13 but it only bugged the graphics more. Need help.
    *Edit* Also getting problems with chunks flickering if redstone's at work on them. Not sure what's going on there.
    *Edit 2* Also having that flickering on chunks with no redstone on them, seems to happen on ones with transparent blocks.
    *Edit 3* Sorry to edit this so much, but I seem to be getting those problems in any chunk, but mostly on ones with transparent blocks and redstone. Please help fix.

    One suggestion: Remove "Chemistry" from the "Alchemical Chemistry set". Chemistry in real life was the successor to alchemy, while alchemy used a lot of old beliefs and assumptions, like how fire, water, earth and wind are elements into its knowledge, chemistry is supposed to be an actual science that is down to earth and uses facts to back things up, they're near opposites, having them both be one thing is just silly.
    Atleast that's my opinion.

    This would be a simple thing, allowing the disabling, serverside, of those silly floating player names above everyone's head, atleast while in the other side of walls, using the not so useful sneak function not needed, allowing for stealth in games like Survival Games and its counterparts, competitive SMP games and etc, and to prevent making it easy to simply rush inside someone's base and blow it to shreds with TNT in SMP, you could make it so that if a block is broken the person, their name pops up above their heads. Since I'm horrible at explaining thing in a general way, let me give a few examples and notes (hopefully this will all count as one suggestion as the forum allows it)

    1st: if the other player is at a certain distance, even with a clear view to him, no name above his head (distance can be far shorter than the current, like, say, 20 blocks, it would allow for quick hiding).
    2nd:Player is hidden by a solid block, no name above his head (Without having to use the Sneak key)
    3rd: If the player is hidden behind one or more solid blocks at a distance of 10 blocks from you and he breaks a block (as in, maybe, secretely digging under your SMP base to place TNT), his name appears for a few seconds for every block break.

    The point of the changes: Allowing stealth while not being broken. Also, perhaps with this, the creators of bukkit scripts can make it so, in team minigames, the names of teammates follow the old rules of the floating name while the enemy team follows the new one.

    posted a message on MAtmos - Environmental sound atmosphere simulator
    The mod won't seem to work. I already had Modloader installed via the Magic Launcher (part of me is assuming the mod isn't working because of that, I'm going to be trying to run it via the normal launcher after posting this just to make sure), along with the mods Rei's Minimap, Better Sprinting and Too Many Items. Magic Launcher comes with a packaged MAtmos on it's setup area, but that never appeared to do anything, and trying to install this one also doesn't seem to have any effect. I did go to the versions folder and create a section for "1.6.2ML" there, but nothing works. Plus, I've been plagued by the random muting of the game, luckily I've been able to fix that with the F3 + S trick. I need help, I really want this mod to work.

    *Edit* Tried using regular launcher, it resulted in none of my mods functioning at all, MAtmos included, of course. Also, I decided to snoop around the options and decided to try, on the edit profile menu, to choose another version of Minecraft, I saw "1.6.2ML" there, and I thought for a moment that it not being chosen was the reason for it the mod not working, but choosing it changed nothing. I am clueless here.

    *Edit 2* After a lot of tweaking, I got the mod to technically work, as the MAtmos key command appears in the Controls menu, however, opening up a world causes a error-reportless crash. I am using the MagicLauncher to do this as the regular launcher won't seem to work with any mods whatsoever. Help is still necessary.

    *Edit III: Revenge of the Memory* This time, after a crash, I got the new "Minecraft ran out of memory" message. Something's wrong here, as I do recall allocating a good 2gb to the game.

    *Edit Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope* Turns out it wasn't MAtmos that was causing the crashes, and after getting the game to work without matmos, I reinstalled that, but now, despit of the MAtmos Key configuration option appearing in the controls menu, actually pressing whatever key's assigned there does nothing in game and none of the matmos sounds work. Help.

    *Edit the Fifth* Just sorta updating to state how the game runs perfectly with MAtmos installed, the option to change what key works it is on the controls menu, but none of the thing's sounds play, so just kinda bumping this up to see if anyone will help, it's been a few days since I made this post originally.

    This is simple, first thing would be adding a real sprint key for the game, cause double-tap W can be unresponsive, specially in multiplayer, would probably be default Ctrl, or put it in Shift and make Ctrl the new Sneak button. And the second thing is adding more weapons, nothing out of place, either new melees such as battleaxes or spears, or atleast crossbows, or even more simple, different types of bows, to add some variety. I don't think there should be just the same sword but of different material, but a new weapon altogether. It would be specially fun with the new horse mobs that will be added in the next big update.

    Okay, imma repost, since everyone is too busy either complaining about mature content or pleading for more mature content to have noticed my question, so I'll repost: I can only get the zombie to talk to me, the creeper just hisses at me no matter how many times I click her with the mob talker, and the endergirl/man just stays quiet and goes "...?". It's quite frustrating, I need some help. ( I use the default english scripts, btw)

    I'm having certain trouble with the 128x128 pack. When I first selected it in the Texture Packs option in-game, Minecraft crashed as soon as I pressed "Done". Then, when I entered the game, all the textures looked perfect, but the items. All the terrain blocks looked correct, but the items looked like the standard Default Texture items. Can I have some help?
