I don't think they should drown in your mob trap, unless a strong current is used, they should be able to swim. Have other hostile mobs been spawning in your trap?
Nope, its only a skele spawner. I basically just filled the room with water, and funneled out all the items to the center and drained out. But every now and then, when I patrol the room to check for items, my ocelot appears inside and refuses to move out. This is 12w19a btw
I was farming a skeleton spawner using a drowning trap, and I brought the 7 ocelots to protect against creepers who decided to mess with me. However, every now and then, my ocelots would 'scream'. By the time I clocked in and left the dungeon, only one ocelot returned. Can they drown? And if so, how do I stop this? I thought getting them to sit made them stay.
Unfortunately, I don't believe you can fix this. And since you also use a mac, do you get white bars where the tools' health bars are supposed to be when you turn Advanced OpenGL on?
Never turned it on, because it slows me down. But I never had the problem before. I had played on Lion before, but after reinstalling Lion after a crash, this happened.
Hello, I recently downloaded Minecraft again. I don't recall this before on Lion (I have played before) but now I notice it. I have NO mods installed, nor any texture packs. How would i go about fixing this, if possible?

They come close to that block, where there is no water at all. And as for the damage, I was no longer attacking, and they continued to get damaged.

I'm aware of that. What do I do in the file?

If you don't mind helping, what do I disable? I can't find anything saying DoF.

You should combine your posts, and I have. Deleted the minecraft folder a couple times, and even force updated a couple times. Still no luck.
