This is apparently a known issue with Indev; the game is trying to connect to the old authentication server but fails to find it and crashes as a result; in order to get it to work you have to fool the game into thinking that the current server uses the original URL, which means that you do need to use a different launcher or method of starting the game:
I need some help with running "Minecraft Indev 0.31" with Rana in it, but I get the null pointer exception error. I really want to run Indev 0.31 without Fiddler.
Please help!

Wait, what?!?!
Are you saying this is a version not on the Wiki, nor on The Word of Notch?

Before you tell me "This Version of Minecraft isn't real", it is.
I'm not really sure if this is "Minecraft: Order of the Stone" or not. But this appeared right on my launcher!
Evidence: (On the Launcher)
As you can see, I installed Minecraft TODAY (or a month ago if your reading in March 27th, 2016, or whenever you are)
Let me know if this could possibly be the so-called "Minecraft: Order of the Stone"

Just to tell you, Digiex Launcher will not install.
It's no longer supported.

I also found that it is as hard as bedrock/command blocks.
I went into survival mode. Tried mining it with a Diamond Pickaxe, no luck. Enchanted it to Effeciency V (enchant command), no luck...

There was corner and normal as well. Any idea how to access all of them?

Hey guys! I was just looking through the Minecraft 1.9 textures and soon found these
1) structure_block_data
2) structure_block_load
3) structure_block_save
What are these?
{NOTE: If you want to find these textures, go extract some files from 1.9 15w31a or 15w31b.}

Hey everyone! Today (or a few days ago if your reading in July 11th, 2015), I just made my own custom Minecraft (or Cave Game) version.
Instructions
(NOTE: I only edited the textures to make it look different)
1. Install paint.net
2. Open any Minecraft jar file (EX: rd-160052.jar)
3. copy and paste them anywhere that is not in .minecraft
4. Edit your textures
5. Copy and Paste your normal folder (EX: rd-160052) in .minecraft\versions
6. Open the original jar
7. move your files into the jar
8. Name it (EX: mc-160052)
9. Name [insert version here).json to what the folder is (Same with jar)
10. Open the json file with Notepad or TextEdit
11. Name the [insert version here] at "id" to whatever the jar, folder and json files are.
12. Play it and enjoy.
