Due to a lack of resources in the initally claimed area the Foundation Project expands to the west, securing more materials for their purpose. The local tribes and city-states do not pay much attention to the newcomers in their lands, as they seem to be causing no harm. Some of the more xenophobic or poorer tribes and city-states that need the resources that the robots are taking start planning an attack on the Project.

The Foundation Project's robots however continue happily with their existence, gathering and refining materials. Large convoys are established to bring the resources to the northern peninsula of the eastern coast of the Project's territory, where they are used by ant-like construction machines to build Origin Zero, the main hub of the Foundation Project. A massive circular gateway-like structure is under construction but its purpose remains unclear.

To prevent the loss of connection with the robotic hivemind, and also to increase the efficiency of the robots, the main artificial intelligence of the Foundation Project designs a new type of machine. These colossal machines look like sauropod dinosaurs with large, disc-shaped heads which are fitted with many long-range and short-range sensors. Their tails function as large antennae, able to send signals over vast distances to other machines, functioning as communication nodes for the hiveminds. These machines can be found moving around in large swarms of other machines.

After allocating the ships, manpower and resources needed, several ships and flying disks go out towards the eastern large island, and the smaller ones around it and begin colonization. Because this is a larger island, about the size of their main island they will have to taker longer to completely annex it into their nation. Mining operations begin, and the underground caverns of this new island are settled in and used for mining operations aswell. A few ship ports are set up along the coastlines, aswell as new and improved underwater bases are built in between the main island and the newly claimed one. It turks out using ships, and not the portals does save energy, but it takes longer.

In the meantime, a green satellite is launched into space and passes over the nations of the Foundation Project, and Militarian Yalietes. Seen as a green glowing dot in the sky, they are now aware of other factions on this planet.

The unknown factions satellite can see that the Foundation Project has expanded to the west, and large herds of strange creatures are roaming these lands. They can also see strange, massive shapes in the water.

Above the surface of a peninsula in the north a wormhole opens and out comes a massive spaceship. It hovers over the land for a while, and suddenly dozens of pods shoot out of the bottom and land on the ground. The ship then heads off into space and dissapears from the system. Meanwhile on the ground, the pods open revealing many different robots. The robots spread out and start doing many different things. Some, such as the Landshark, start drilling into the earth to collect minerals, while others transport the collected minerals to a centralized area.

ooc: also please don't mess stuff up I have to go to work so I can't moderate too much

Welcome to the Planet Reloaded, The continuation of the RP that Darth had created. The original Planet thread was made by Darthrafael one year ago. The RP is set on a planet and has some rules, but nothing too complicated.

This is the map of the planet:

You can edit the map to add your nation/base/empire/etc. . Keep in mind that this planet is about the size of earth. The rivers shown on the map are the big rivers, but there are others. Rivers broke. Also, if you edit the image, please turn off antialiasing when you use the paint bucket as it messes up the map. And try uploading the image with imgur or another online service, as Minecraft forum image uploading always messes up the map as well.

And a version with claimed land:

There are also two moons. These are accessible, but nothing else is. (although that might change later)
The moon of Cudruonope is a barren world similar to Mars. It has no water but there is ice.

The moon of Yeuter is a Chthonian world, a molten, extremely hot world.

Here are the rules. They are basically the same as the original thread.
    1. If somebody wishes to not interact with somebody, don't force them to. If somebody tells you to stop OOC, then stop.

    2. You are free to decide your own tech level, there is no 'standard' tech level. You're free to play a caveman civilisation while someone else has computers and such, and you could also play a fantasy empire with magic while your neighbour is using high tech.

    3. You are free to add your own 'NPC' nations/civilisations for you and others to interact with. The person who created an NPC civilisation controls it (Unless they give somebody else permission to control it).

    4. First come, first served. Same goes for here. You can't claim things others have claimed, nor can you change someone else's environment. If someone is having a fantasy-like war with an Orc faction, you can't come in and say that there's a hyperadvanced civilisation there. The map is big enough for everyone, so try and respect each other.

    5. WMDs are allowed, but don’t go overboard with it. Don’t make them too powerful and don’t create tons of WMDs out of nothing.

    6. There are no flawless weapons. No shield is impenetrable, no weapon is flawless, no armour is invincible.

    7. If you go overboard, expect retaliation. If you don't play fair (by breaking the rules), don't expect me to either, and I might look the other way when someone breaks a rule to punish you for going overboard (By dropping superweapons on your empire after you continued waging war on others after they specifically told you to stop.)

    8. If things escalate even further and it can't be stopped in-RP, I'll use my GM powers to put a stop to it. If I make a post with GM: [something], then that is FINAL, and you cannot oppose it. (So if I cause your empire to be destroyed with a GM post, you'll have to deal with it.)

9.Don't control things that don't belong to you.

Other than that, you are free to do as you wish. There is no application process either.

Jord, confused by what's happening now, chose to wander around town instead.

Jord, only just arriving at the island after swimming through the water, asked to the man: "Do you have any idea where that Witch is?"

"Adventurers... always sticking there nose in where they don't belong." Vernon utters the words, barely audible to anyone else as he pieces together just what was taking place here. He let's a short shot of breath from his nose to reflect his willingness to be at ease. These people were probably no real threat, just nosy or on the run from outside troubles. In truth, they may even prove useful to his cause. At that moment of reckoning, Vernon realizes he did recognize one of the group, Curi. He did not know her by name, though he had noticed her around town on numerous occasions. She was however different than he recalled, something about her had changed, no doubt the reason as to why he hadn't been familiar with her to start.

At this reasoning, Vernon, void of any sudden movements, lowers both weapons, attaching one crossbow to his belt to free his left hand and gives a light tap to Ki behind him. "It's fine, girl," He tells her; "You can relax."

He looks at Curi, squinting with one eye. "You may want to do something about the coffin smell you've got happening. You stink of death warmed up, maybe bathe those clothes in some smoke for a while. Still, nice to see a familiar face around this hole of a town."

Regarding Uyir, he nods and makes a point; "Nice to see some power of observation taking place."

He speaks to the groups, voice calm and to the point. "There be monsters here, boys and girls. Better we save our energy for them. I've got some work to do involving the protection of this young girl behind me, and I need not mention the obvious desire for pest control around Waise.

In any case, names Vernon, resident of town. This child behind me, Ki. We're on rout to the plateau in town. Feel free to join me if you're looking to make difference that doesn't involve selfish needs or stupidity, hell knows I could do with any assistance that's offered. Just don't tag along if you're gonna be more of a nuisance than help."

He extends his hand for anyone willing to get the pleasantries of greeting out of the way.

Jord sheaths his sword again, and walks to Vernon to shake his hand. "I'm Jord," he said as he was shaking Vernon's hand, "I'll be going with you guys then, I'm feeling like I want to have an adventure."

At Ace's first move, Vernon had shifted his aim from Jord to them. By time Ace had finished their response, he had used his foot to shift Ki a little more to one side behind him, further from Aces line of possible attack while the other crossbow remained on Uyir. Vernon however did not flinch. He held his ground. He held his tongue. He awaited an answer to his question from any of them.

Inhumanly fast Jord had drawn his steel sword as soon as Vernon shifted his aim to Ace, and prepared to dodge or even block any crossbow bolts from Vernon.

Uyir meanders the direction of the opened tomb "That looks like something which should be adventurous!"

"Hmm, a lot of people died in this town recently," Jord said "That's a good idea, let's go into the tomb!"

Uyir nods "If you wish to do so, you may. I don't mind" He turns back towards Boris and Curi, inviting Jord to follow him back

Jord looked at the group, noticing that he knew Boris and Uyir, but he had no idea who the woman was. "Hello, I'm Jord, who are you?", he said to Curi to introduce himself.

Uyir nods at Boris "Thank you." He turns to Jord, and walks over to him, ignoring Curi's expression of thanks. He did nothing more than express what he knew. "So," he says, once he reaches Jord "you wished to speak to me?"

"I just saw you and recognized you from the inn and wanted to greet you, that's all. Can I join your group?" He replied

Jorcool, who was a frequent poster on this thread, unlike yourself, would know how long it had been inactive. Therefor, what is it to you if he decides to start playing the game once more?

When the Khanate become idle in their assault, one of the discs disperse a yellow broad-beam that sweeps over their entire nation. Others of the same type of beam are also projected upon the aircraft carriers and planes. Thought the Khanate are not aware of the beams intention, it is in fact a variety of scan. The scan takes but a few seconds, before all other hostility shown to the Khanate from the disc becomes quiet, at least for now....

Meanwhile, deep underground in the ancient ruined city of the Midg, the clean up of the city continues. A group of midge stumble upon a large cavern, filled with technological pods and devices they can not properly identify. Many of these devices and pods, however, seem to have recently activated. Word of this discovery is brought to the attention of the numerous Jarl's. A study is ordered to find out the function of said technology.

Half of the carrier force drives back towars the Khanate, and start helping in the fight against the white army instead.

Uyir wanders in the general direction of the town, with Curi and Boris following, constantly humming a cheery, upbeat tune

Jord, after leaving the vicinity of the church had coincidentally walked towards Uyir, Curi and Boris. As soon as he saw Uyir approaching he shouted: "Hey, weren't you at the inn and the church?"
