Add your server address to the footer of your enjin website, I cant see as a main feature of the current site and you probably lose 2 or 3 users a day because of that.
Maybe get your regular users to make a maybe weekly bump with an update on how the sever is running, you might want to check the forums TOS on that one.

Perhaps if the source block is effectively sand or sand like and the flow pieces are 'teleported' like they were //moved with world edit?
I understand the lag created when large volumes of sand are updated but thats par for the course with minecraft, unless the modder was jeb+++ talented ;D lol
