posted a message on Inconsistant Generation

I think it has to do with population. The game doesn't plant trees in the same manner during the chunk population step if you don't generate the chunks in exactly the same order. A similar thing can happen with surface lava lakes.

posted a message on Why has the Petition to remove the EULA failed?

Because a petition does nothing. You can have literally everyone who has purchased Minecraft sign it, and Mojang wouldn't be forced to change the EULA. Besides, 10,000 is less than 1% of the player base.

Well, I'm finally making progress on Dungeon 2 (Help me I need a name for it), and it will have a dungeon map. I am trying to make it a little challenging. I have finally decided what I want to do for the boss battle... It will based off of my new favorite boss battle from the zelda series... :D

    Hint: It's from Skyward Sword.

Oh, oh, oh, let me guess...It's the Imprisoned! Loved that guy! Or maybe, Moldarach?

Kidding, my guess is Koloktos, since that seems to be everyone's favorite boss. My personal favorite is Ghirahim, though, because I find it cool to be fighting another swordsman in the Zelda series, and the battles feel epic, even if they are a bit on the easy side (my record for the first time is 29 seconds).

posted a message on Easier way to get command items (Spawner)
    Quote from Acknid»

    Then what is?

The same reason command blocks aren't: they can be potentially used for massive griefing. Personally, though, I think this can be fixed by making it so that if you can use the /give command, then you can grab any item from the creative inventory.

There's a very good reason why the spawners aren't there. That would be horribly messy, enough spawners would kill your performance and make your CPU cry for mercy. Even before the spawners actually spawn stuff. No supports.

Command blocks can kill your performance. Spawning particles can kill your performance. Even the nether can kill your performance. "The Lagument" isn't a valid reason to say "no support." Messiness is not the reason spawners aren't in the creative inventory.

posted a message on I need a plugin that is a one hit/touch break in survival.

Can you prevent items from dropping? If so, you can try making the floor of the arena from snow blocks and using this command in a command block to give contestants a diamond shovel:

    /give @a minecraft:diamond_shovel 1 0 {Unbreakable:1}

Snow breaks instantly, so it should work if you can deal with the snowballs. You'll need to attach the contestants to a scoreboard so you can make sure only they get shovels.

posted a message on Dedicating enough RAM for shaders?

Shaders are more of a GPU thing and increasing RAM will not make much of a difference (in fact it can decrease it). However, if you need to (for example you are using a lot of mods or playing an intensive adventure map), you can change the JVM argument in the Profile/Launch settings. The first thing should be -Xmx1G. You can change the number before G (which stands for Gigabytes) to change the number of allocatable RAM from the default 1.

You may want to try Sildur's Shaders, and try a low intensity pack to increase your fps to something more bearable.

The only people who are going to need spawners are mapmaker. and if you don't know how to use commands as a mapmaker... you might as well not make a map since that is gonna fail instantly.
in short, no reason for spawners in Creative. If you want to cheat hem in, you can already do so, and a mapmaker who uses them will no problem using /give (not to mention the /give command allowing for a ton of extra customization to a point not even possible in the Creative inventory)

Yeah! I mean, I always dislike it when a programming language adds in more functionality that I could just program myself. I would much rather write numerous classes than just use a simple keyword to do the same thing!

What this is for is more for convenience. Yeah, sure, it can be used by noob mapmakers to get around the /give command, but for the most part, this is much faster for getting a basic spawner ready, which you can then edit if you need to with /blockdata. The main problem with this is griefing, but I think there are ways to get around that.

    I Support this.

    Quote from Grubas»

The crash happens like after 1-5 mins on a server.
It always says Entity Name: Creeper

but I think i'm just gonna stop playing on 1.9 doesn't happen on 1.11 so that's good atleast

Well, if it's just that server, then there's nothing you can do unless you own the server and can use MCEdit on the world files.

Another thing you can try is enabling mipmaps. That should smooth out the texture, fixing this.

Does this happen whenever you launch the world? Does it always say "Ticking Entity" under Description and say

    "Entity Type: Creeper (yi)
    Entity ID: 6705132
    Entity Name: Creeper"

    on crash reports?
