Is there a railway leading from Intersection 3 to Intersection 2 in Inferno Mines? Or one leading from the VM to Intersection 3? Yes or no would be helpful! :)
No, however there is a shortcut tunnel at the VM leading back to
    Amanita Cavern
which I used to connect with my I1-I2 rail line.

Go to where the entrance was and then follow the wall a bit deeper into the cavern. There should be a little ledge ahead of you with a little sand patch (like 3x3) that you can dig up. I don't know why he moved it, probably thought it was too obvious so now it's rather hard to find it.

Wow... it took me at least another 5 minutes to find it even with your instructions. How are you expected to find that on your own? There's no way someone could stumble upon that while exploring, the only way up there is with a staircase. It doesn't help either that the sand blends in with the new sandstone blocks.

Hey guys, so I've been playing through IM recently, and following Zisteau's LP too (after I complete an area, I go watch his perspective). I just finished intersection 2, and after watching Z's video on Mellow Cavern, I realized that I must have missed that area with the
ladder trap and the Lost Cavern
After going back there, though, I couldn't find it and realized it must have been moved/removed from the map. So my question is, should I watch Z's video on that area? Or will I find it later in the map, and I should avoid being spoiled?

    Small(ish) rant concerning Hane's Disgrace:
Can somebody tell me how you are supposed to beat this place without tunneling or bridging? Cave spiders are bad enough, but stronger, invisible cave spiders that spawn in all light levels seems a bit too crazy. Sure, you can rush through. In fact, this was the strategy I used all the way up to the last bend before the fleecy box, where it is almost impossible to get down. You run up, place a torch, but ten more spiders spawn behind you anyway. I had to resort to a mixture of bridging and tunneling to get to the wool. It just seems to me that it is almost impossible to make progress legitimately beyond that point.
Rant over. Don't let this fool you, though, I think Inferno Mines is a great map so far. :D Probably the best map I've ever played up to this point (although I hear it gets worse..)

Actually when creepers blew up my Everforge wool I just pasted this part of map (full everforge area) in MCedit.
I don't know if thats actually "legal".

IMO, that's ok because I think it's kind of bad for a game to make you restart from scratch if you mess up. I mean, most games have a some sort of checkpoint system where when you get to a certain area, you're safe. In minecraft, there isn't. Imagine getting all the way to the black wool, losing that, and then having to redo the entire map.

Just started IM yesterday (apparently a lot of people just started...). Started with Skylight B, and got to Intersection 1 with only 1 death. After looting all the other skylights, I decided to take on Everforge. I lit everything up, got to the wool room with relative ease (I think you know where this is going..) A blaze knocked me inside the room, and I got blown up. Went back to get my stuff, and after lighting up the room, you guessed it, the wool had also been blown up.

So let's turn this into a community question of sorts: If the wool somehow gets blown up, but you manage to still get to the fleecy box and then safely to your base again, do you think you should be allowed to give yourself one via creative mode?

Hey, can anyone tell me if Legendary has been updated with fleecy boxes?

I really like the new ladder sounds. They give you the impression that you're actually climbing a ladder, and not magiaclly floating up a 1 by 1 tube of upside down gravity.

That's weird. Blocks don't drop when I'm in Creative. o_O

For me items only drop when they are broken indirectly. For example, when I break the sand block under some cactus, the cactus will drop but not the sand.

No it doesn't. It just makes armor stronger or give you different effects. (Respiration making you breathe underwater longer, and feather falling making you take less fall damage) and I think protection enchant makes it last longer.

And in 1.3 if you mine coal you get some XP and you also get some XP from smelting.

The Protection enchantment protects the player (as in, you will take less damage), but doesn't extend the durability.

I checked, and apparently there's a 3.09% chance of getting just Punch I with level 30... tough luck, I guess

posted a message on 12w32a villager reaction question
In the change log it says that villagers can react positively or negatively depending on how you treat them, yet I have tested this numerous times and nothing happens. Their trades don't change, they don't attack you or anything. Has anyone been able to figure this out?

EDIT: I think this only works on naturally spawned villagers, not ones from eggs. When you hurt them they have some fancy particles, but I haven't noticed anything else. Hope they add this in the future!

posted a message on Villager Zombies have a secret!
I tired hitting one with a splash potion of weakness, then right-clicking with a golden apple, and the potion particles turned from red to gray. I also tried the same thing on a normal zombie and that didn't happen. We might be onto something here...

    EDIT: got ninja'd -.-

Oh, and I also noticed the spasms. Wierd.
