im not sure if this should be posted here or not but any idea why when i delete my meta-inf file (not the entire file just everything except the manifest) it causes my minecraft to lag incredibly bad
to anyone who is having a problem downloading this watch this video on youtube *I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS* the guy does a very very detailed walkthrough on how to do this step by step i dont remember if he said to delete the META-INF but remember to and it will work

and i read and agree to the terms looks like a good server this will be my first try at a SMP so it will be an interesting experience
so every time i try to download the beta of this it tells me the file im looking for has been removed or no longer exists any idea y it is telling me that? BTW looks great keep it up and ignore the trolls they feed off of the pain and sadness of others
well im not sure if its just me or not but mine is crashing as well and i am using windows vista :*( i used winrar and placed inside minecraft.jar so idk if i did something wrong
well the prob is i never found the folder i ended up downloading a progam to install them for me and when i highlight the items.png folder and have it installed it says it installed but it still doesnt show up
thanks for the link it helped alot and i finally figured it out though for some reason items such as armor, weaps, signs and what not still are not changing over should i take the item.png file and place it in the item folder? or is there something else
well i finally got them installed ( thanks to everyone who ignored my cry for help ) but for some reason the items pic doesnt work im not sure if it downloaded wrong or if this is a known prob other then that the building blocks have changed but things like armor, carts, weaps etc... did not should i redownload the file and install it again?
If you haven't already, put the 3 files gui.png, icons.png and items.png into an extra folder named "gui" inside your Minecraft folder - should work. =)

so i just made my forums account to first off say that the pics and vids iv seen of this text mod looks great and my 2nd reason is id like to use this myself but i havnt been able to figure out how i saw in a post from a few days ago someone said to put them in the minecraft .jar file however i cant find it every time i search for a minecraft folder it only brings up the launcher if any1 can shed some light on this it would be a big help
