You should add a screenshot or two of the texture pack in action. If not then people won't download it, and perhaps worse, they'll complain excessively about it. Otherwise, welcome to the forums!

Just because it is on the internet does not mean you can take it and use it without permission, friend. This is why you ask first, because even if there isn't a terms of use added to the creator's post, it still falls under the one in the forum rules thread. You had the right idea by crediting them but you really should have asked them if it was alright to use their stuff, then given them credit.
I really think simo_415 should take some time to update the OP, or at least the thread title. That'd solve a lot of problems instantly, because as is, people have no way of knowing that it's been updated already besides reading through a 1000+ page thread.
Today I have finally installed SPC and Minecraft works as it should but a couple of command lines do not seem to work as a result of unknown command *not yet enabled etc.*. Command "pos" does work but when I try some like "instant mine" or " fly" it does not seem to work. Could anyone please tell me the reason why?
PS: I have used MC patcher to install SPC
The latest couple of Minecraft updates broke a lot of the commands, such as /instantmine and /fly. They will return in a later update to SPC, when they are fixed and working again. Maybe an update to the OP would solve some of these questions being asked every page...
EDIT: In addition, even though the title of the thread still says '1.4.2', the main download simply said '1.4' which could mean any version. As I did before I read the last few pages and downloaded the dev build, others could assume that it is the latest version and come back when it inevitably doesn't work.
Click on "worldedit-5.4.6-SNAPSHOT.zip" to download it, then place the .jar inside it in '.minecraft/bin' like the automatic installer normally would do on its own.
The 1.4.4 dev snapshot update worked perfectly for me (save for the commands that are broken, which you already know about). On behalf of the dummies that don't know how to read, I thank you for taking the time to make sure it worked even as a temporary fix before releasing it! This and WorldEdit are two very helpful mods!
Vote whoring is not cool and you should feel bad for doing it. Release it regardless of whether people like it or not, don't refuse to release something unless you get nothing but positive reinforcement, it makes you look like a jerk.
I still don't know what you guys are all on about. This has worked since the link he posted. I helped him do some optimization on it so I'd know if it worked properly or not. You guys are entitled to your opinions though, I guess. :\

Well, obviously he's holding F1. You have no idea what AdvPNG does, do you? It basically improves Java to be completely optimized for Minecraft, and this texture pack takes advantage of that. Besides, Inacio told me that screenshot was taken on a Mac, so it's experimental software, there's bound to be bugs like the cursor being visible.

I'm assuming the extra lines in the background mean "Haha **** you Iamahedgehog, the world hates you therefore your graphics card will not allow you to use this one particular cool ass shader that you like properly."
