May 5, 2013Good job updating my mod, it isn't butchered and it's pretty much the same (not that I dislike changes as long as they are for the better (such as the silk touch for the fossils which I previously used gold picks for)).Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Thanks for keeping "Rope!" alive too, never publically released it on it's own before as I never thought it would be too great (Though by all means I should have).
Good luck on any additions to Peaceful Pack, I still have my original idea document for new updates for it, but I abandoned the mod before I could implement them. I could show it to you if you are in any way interested.

Awesome i loved his mods...
Haha, thank you!
And nice update, looks like it has all the features from when I made it now, wonder what more you will add!

Open source please? That would give us hope that somebody can continue this. Thanks!
Open source wouldn't be a help, I coded it in obfuscated (Didn't use MCP)
It would be best if someone ran the mod through MCP, then they could get a mostly understandable code.
Though, if anyone attempts to continue this ask permission first, and if you have questions about the code I have used, feel free to ask me.

Hey Hogofwar! I know this may seem pushy and abrupt, but if you are unable to continue this mod, would you release the source to the public or something so that it could still be continued?
At this point it is looking like it won't be continued for a while if at all.
The best source code you can get is just decompiling it with MCP or just a decompiler. I coded it in obfuscated so there really isn't much difference thus no real point in me releasing the source code.

I hope you had a good start into the new year and your pc is back up and running, hogofwar!
Just wanted to share that I just checked the 1.0.0 compability of your Rope! mod (you shared the dropbox link a while ago in this thread, thanks again! :-) ) and it works like a charm with Yogbox 1.02 (Core, Airship, Tale of Kingdoms, Mo'Creatures, Rei's Minimap, Treecapitator) and Buildcraft. Finally an easy way to get down those quarries! :-)
(For those of you who use IndustrialCraft, the rope's BlockID - 220 - will conflict with the activated nuclear reactor.)
EDIT: Oh, I just saw that you updated the file on January the 8th. Nice! :-)
Yep, I updated rope (Hope you have the newest version, there were some bugs before, though it is likely you have the newest version already)
As for anyone asking for an update: sorry, I really cannot give an ETA for that I have Stuff to do as well as dwindling motivation to work on minecraft modding as well as basically not playing minecraft any more either.
Jan 14, 2012Sorry, at this time it doesn't look like I will be updating this. I have other stuff to do as well as a lack of motivation of going through the godforsaken updating. I also don't really play Minecraft any more, if at all.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
If anyone wants the source, The best way is to decompile it in MCP. I am not supplying the sources myself as I coded it in obfuscated and I do not have MCP ready to use with me.
If you want the obfuscated source code (for whatever reason, it's basically the same as normally decompiling the classes without MCP) feel free to contact me via PM, I still get emails from getting a message.
Please contact me for permission if you want to use a part of the code directly or you want to start updating it instead of me.

it's good to see an update! does this mean others will follow shortly?
I currently have a bonesticks update in the works but still no ideas for updates to any of the others.

Thanks to DaftPVF for updating most of it.
Dec 29, 2011Sorry, the update is still going to take longer, my computer has died (and so i am waiting for new parts, which I hope will fix it).Posted in: Minecraft Mods
On top of that the update method has changed to force me to use MCP (Which before I did not use) so i have to convert my mods to MCP which also brings up a lot of bugs and issues.
The update will eventually come, but i cannot guarantee any time at all.

I hope the Mini Spiders and Ghast babies are weaker then there parents, unlike the baby tigers and lions in DrZharks Mo' Creatures nothing more embarrassing then having your butt handed to you by a baby cat unexpectedly lol
They won't do damage at all. This is the peacefulpack after all.
Nov 23, 2011For the people asking for mods separately, or complaining about a particular part, please remember that the config allows you to disable specific parts of the mod, if a part is disabled it will not use up any item/block/texture ids.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
As for updating to 1.0.0, yes it will come soon enough I just have to implement the updates I have planned (Mini spiders! Ghast babies! Blaze trees!)
