Idk if I'd use the term "Veteran", but I'd say "an extremely long-time" and "old man".
Just happened upon this thread. Guess I was the one feeling nostalgic.
I started late '09. Never used the "Glacier" seed, hell, I've never even used a seed. Tried Creative ONCE - absolutely hated it, (but I realize some people really like it... I just like the survival aspect and 'earning' every block I place).
Saw someone mentioned the leaves staying hahaha. Yeah, memory lane, man. Mine were no shears (also mentioned) but mainly, no charcoal, no beds, etc. So, when you started a game, if you didn't find coal right away, you were pretty much screwed. All you could do was dig a hole, wait in it, in the dark all night and hopefully find coal the next day. If not? I'd just start a new one.
Obv, no Forge, so when people did start modding it, you had to do it all manually, within the guts of the files, set all the item block numbers manually, etc. Too old to remember his name, but there was ONE guy, that everybody had to wait on to start installing mods when MC updated... b/c they all relied on his mod... in order to add whatever. Buildcraft and Industrialcraft did NOT get along - it wasn't until somebody made a 'bridge' mod that you could even install them together.
I have a million more. Now, it makes me want to hear the theme song from "All in the Family" - being all reminisce-y and crap.
I never knew that. I have a large iron tank that the RC creosote flows into. When I added ImmEng, I built their coke oven as well and just pumped it into the same iron tank, never even thought about compatibility. It works fine.
I'm reposting this for those people who don't like looking back in the pages to find a working version! now they can't get mad at us, and we can point out its a few posts above theirs >D muahahaha
Smart move. Most people aren't going to expect there to be a working update in the comments. So either we should find Gwafu or a Mod/Admin and get an update put up on the first page or consider opening a new topic. Or else...this kind of thing is the best solution. Just have people repost the update over and over.
No, I don't know why my reply posted at the top either. Not like I'm new here.
I feel like I'm the only person who learned about this mod from Stacyplays xD This is an epic mod though and honestly, it's one of the few mods I would run without actually putting it in a pack (It does spice it up quite a bit, though...)
Good call I've been using it since the start. Now, when MC updates (and if I want to update too), I won't move on until EBXL is ready with its the next version.

Think they just grow straight up, then never 'grape out' or anything.

If you follow the quest line, it'll slowly remove all of those.

I have a Super Bowl prediction!!! Green Bay 31, Pittsburgh 25.
Place your bets now!

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't configure the Sensor Module for: Fuel Tank, Empty, Signal ON.
No matter what I click on or do, it stays "Signal Off" (for Fuel Tank, Empty).
Ideas? Bug?

That honeycombed shape idea is Great! Much better than the checks.

Unfortunately though, you'll almost have to re-post it on every page. lol
Even then, you'll still get people that won't even read up a few posts. The pinheads.
The 'main' person that is actually doing the updates just needs to get permission, as you said, to alter/update the page.
I'm glad you guys have picked up the ball with this mod.

Well, crap. Then I don't know how to advance past that part---without shutting off the progression.
Or, is that the only way? Are areas blocked wit it shut off?
Do the bosses still even spawn with progression shut off?

Go to unexplored parts of your world after installation.

Have never played on peaceful. Wouldn't think they'd spawn if it was on that.
So, have you never progressed past that OR have you always just shut off the progression?
