    do i see that correctly, its R195 now? has a lot changed in the mod since R95 or only new features that got added to it? i got stuck in an autism loop that i call timesink but some call techworld 2 and was busy automating the game to play itself, therefore i missed out on a whole 100 releases and would now love to get back into MITE but dont know if my limited capabilites will be enough now, i see that the crafting recipes are still the same, so i dont know if just nothing got added or is it outdated (again) ?

    MOON DOGS

    so i read the update now (thanks puravidaserver) and saw this with the moon dogs which appear at the night before a blue moon and I am heavily confused now.

    are they passive, neutral/tameble (like dogs), or hostile?

    knowing avernite, theyve got to be hostile, but since they appear before a blue moon, a very peaceful event, they could be passive right?

    would anyone mind feeding me up on that?

    Hello again.

    im not sure that this is the right place for this but it looks like the right place to me.

    i need a texture of a mortar and pestle. the mortar has to look just like a wooden bowl, but out of iron, and the pestle shoulb be made out of obsidian and stick out from the mortar.

    i would be very grateful if someone gifted with textures could make this for me, when ill get done with the mod you will be given appropriate credit, since the mortar and pestle is a key part to my mod.

    thanks in advance.

    heres your dose of encouraging words:

    we, as a whole community, believe in you. were very grateful to have a lord and savior who sacrifices his machine for us. you can do it!

    oh yeah i know the feel of abandoning things. I started working on a mod for 1.9 yesterday and im already working on another one because a texture didnt load.

    i just assumed that its software because that just happens to be the case 80% of the times when a pc doesnt boot. ofcourse a cable could have come loose or your pc is too dusty. (thats actualy a problem especially for me with 2 cats)

    Well, our very next step is trying to repair my better PC quad-core
    Windows 7 so it works because currently that PC doesn't even boot at
    all. I will try to see if I can repair it by myself probably tuesday
    evening.

    i assume that the pc not booting is a software defect and not HDD problems. if thats the case, build out the C drive(the one where windows is installed) and put it in the crapmachine. if it doesnt have any free sata ports you can get something like this:

    http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=sata 3 to usb&view=detailv2&&id=DDC058AD35535C6A12970028D1386B33F4FC28FA&selectedIndex=0&ccid=8XbzTt9j&simid=608037580502074061&thid=OIP.Mf176f34edf639bbd9514bb3b7036814bo0&ajaxhist=0

    then just start the pc normally and take out all your important files that you need from the disk. put it back in the pc, and also put your win7 cd in the cd drive. then start the pc while smashing the f1&f2 keys and now you can reinstall windows via bios.

    posted a message on block item texture not rendering [CLOSED]

    Hello there. today i started working on a mod, and so far it doesnt show up errors in compilation but has a major issue: galena ore as a block shows the texture perfectly fine, but when its held or dropped as an item, it renders the missing texture thingy. the texture seems to be loaded in the mod since it shows up, so the mistake should be somewhere in the item loading process. here are the files where i assume problems:

    Mainclass.java

    /* a mod made by hardcorelinux/valentin bondar inspired by MITE and Better Beginnings
    * to increase the playtime while keeping the difficulty vanilla.*/
    package main;
    import blocks.Galena;
    import items.Boneshard;
    import items.Itembase;
    import net.minecraft.item.Item;
    import net.minecraft.item.Item.ToolMaterial;
    import net.minecraftforge.common.util.EnumHelper;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.EventHandler;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.SidedProxy;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPostInitializationEvent;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPreInitializationEvent;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.registry.GameRegistry;
    import proxy.ServerProxy;

    @Mod(modid = Mainclass.MODID)

    public class Mainclass {

    public static Boneshard boneshard = new Boneshard();

    public static Galena galena_ore = new Galena();

    public static ToolMaterial materialflint = EnumHelper.addToolMaterial("materialflint", 1, 99, 4, (float) 1.5, 0);
    @SidedProxy(clientSide = "proxy.ClientProxy",serverSide = "proxy.ServerProxy")
    public static ServerProxy proxy;

    public static final String MODID ="survivalmod";

    @EventHandler
    public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event){
    GameRegistry.registerItem(boneshard);
    GameRegistry.registerBlock(galena_ore);
    }

    @EventHandler
    public void init(FMLInitializationEvent event){
    System.out.println("PHASE 1 SUCCESSFUL");
    proxy.registerclientstuff();
    }

    @EventHandler
    public void postInit(FMLPostInitializationEvent event){
    System.out.println("PHASE 2 SUCCESSFUL");
    }

    }

    ClientProxy.java

    package proxy;

    import items.Itembase;
    import main.Mainclass;
    import net.minecraft.block.Block;
    import net.minecraft.client.Minecraft;
    import net.minecraft.client.renderer.block.model.ModelResourceLocation;
    import net.minecraft.item.Item;

    public class ClientProxy extends ServerProxy{
    @Override
    public void registerclientstuff() {
    registeritemmodel(Mainclass.boneshard);
    registerblockmodel(Mainclass.galena_ore);
    }
    public static void registeritemmodel(Item item){
    Minecraft.getMinecraft().getRenderItem().getItemModelMesher().register(item, 0, new ModelResourceLocation(Mainclass.MODID + ":" + item.getRegistryName(), "inventory"));
    }

    public static void registerblockmodel(Block block){
    registeritemmodel(Item.getItemFromBlock(block));
    }
    }

    i am sorry if what i have here looks stupid, my only java experience is android 4.0.3 programming and this is my first minecraft mod.

    thanks in advance.

    attached is the problem in pictures:

    umm hello its me again

    i just got a worm on my windows hard drive and basically cant use it anymore. I have *most* of my work on my linux drive but i obviosly used my windows drive for games and since i had hudreds of hours of progress in some RPGs im giving my HDD to a friend who can extract the files i need for me.

    so my problem at this point is that the installer is an executable and running it with wine wont help me since wine uses an artificial enviroment...

    are the class files downloadable somewhere so i can insert them in the jar, and if not, can some one send me his/her 1.6.4MITE JAR and JSON file please? big thanks in advance.
