Why you want to join the community: Me and my friend have had an itch for some Minecraft recently, we've been looking for a server that seems to be pretty vanilla and that has a good community since our old server died due to inactivity, seems we found a winner.

Tell us a little about yourself: I've been playing Minecraft since early alpha now, mostly build and let my friend do all the collecting, mining, farming etc. Love making really neat looking bases, and a base is never complete without an oversized farm.

I recommend mcpatching it, it's not needed, but to see a certain few textures, it is required, I put up a tutorial on page 124 if you want to.

How to install:

WITHOUT OPTIFINE:

Step 1. Open Mcpatcher.

Step 2. In the top right corner it'll say Game Version:. Make sure you have the right version selected, like 1.7.10 or 1.8.

Step 3. Make sure everything is checked that can be checked, then press patch.

Step 4. Open the Minecraft Launcher. Click Edit Profile, in "Use version" select the one that has "...-mcpatcher" at the end of it. Then press save profile.

Step 5. Select profile, and put it to MCPatcher. And you should be good to go!

WITH OPTIFINE!

Step 1. Install optifine before patching your game.

Step 2. Open MCPatcher.

Step 3. In the top corner it should say Game Version. Click the version with optifine, It'd look something like "1.7.10-Optifine_blah blah."

Step 4. Make sure everything that can be checked is checked. Then press patch.

Step 5. Open the Minecraft Launcher.

Step 6. Click Edit Profile, in "Use version" make sure it is using the version "1.7.9/1.7.10/1.8-Optifine-mcpatcher", then press Save Profile.

Step 7. In the launcher, switch the profile to MCPatcher, and you should be good to go!

Everything I asked you to fix seems to be fixed, welcome to the server! And I'd just like to point one thing out, MP3 players don't really exist in the fallout universe to my knowledge, it'd most likely be a holotape.

Tweaks

Once the mod is properly installed, there are a few things you can do to ensure maximum performance.

-Run the game in a smaller resolution in full-screen
-Lower your render distance
-When OptiFine is installed, try toggling "Options > Video Settings > Performance > Smooth FPS:". "ON" gives more responsive input and more steady fps, but likely lower maximum FPS.

Why you want to join the community: I've been looking for a good Minecraft server for a long time and this one looks like a great time!

Tell us a little about yourself:Usually what I like to do in Minecraft is to mine and farm, I tend to let my friend handle all the building since he's good at that thing. I also enjoy a good community with active and fun players.

It's been a good run. Goodness knows I'll be sad to see this all go. A fond farewell to all you other Wastelanders! This was the best server I've been on in some time, and perhaps the best server I will ever be on.



And who knows, Abe and Jack may yet return.....some other server, some other time.

No, you just need a decent enough backstory to show you aren't a troll or a bad roleplayer. Your character is from Germany, which in itself is a sin; being that anywhere but America in lore is completely unknown to everyone. Your character is not a ghoul, but apparently lived this long and is still twenty-one years old even though the bombs fell one hundred and fifty years ago. I'm convinced that you possibly don't know quite literally anything about the Fallout universe, though that's an insult to people that haven't the played the games yet. They probably know more than you do.

KidPlaysMCFTW, please never apply to a Fallout RP server again. This was quite literally the worst application I have ever read. I very much wish I could sugar coat this, but your application is so horrible it causes me physical pain to read it. Do not make another application ever, please for the love of god.
