I like FTB. It's more polished, with more cross-mod compatability. Besides, it has pretty much everything in the technic pack that's important (Buildcraft, redpower, and industrialcraft, and a lot more)
Yeah, no ? I kind of made it painfully obvious I was talking about updating to 1.5. You do realize that updating things isn't just "DING! THE THING UPDATED!"
Updating the 1.2.3 version with NEW CONTENT is kind of exactly what I said was going on.
Alright, so, I'm using the most recent version of the mod, and I've added it onto a bunch of other mods (everything from the FTB Ultimate pack, plus dungeon mobs, tropicraft, forgotten nature, clay soldiers, grey goo, and alice dolls) and I've noticed that this mod, as well as the dungeon mobs and tropicraft mods and possibly more that I just don't realize are doing it, have no sound. Well, any sounds that are newly added do not do anything. I went into the zip file and yeah, the sounds are all there and play fine in my media player, but, they do not play in-game. What's the deal with that?
EDIT: weeping angels shriek at me now, but the other mods and anything else in this mod isn't working.

There's a lot of spooky stuff goin around about the number 11.
Let me show you.
-Minecraft 1.0 was released on 11/11/11.
-Disc 11 is a creepy, non-music disc.
--Disc 11 has the 11th disc id.
--Disc 11 is 1:11 long.
-The Enderman was the 11th mob in the game.
-Herobrine was removed 11 times.
--In the series of updates Herobrine was removed from, the only one in that series that he WASN'T removed from was 1.1.
-Still Lava has ID 11.
-Level 11 is a good level to find diamonds on
Can we find any more...? And what does this have to do with anything...?
Hmmm I'm having a problem with ID resolver and RP2, not sure which one is at fault, but for whatever reason, RP2 and ID resolver are not getting along and decide to crash while Minecraft attempts to load everything since RP2 doesn't seem to be letting the ID resolver change any of its ID's. (at least for me)
This was happening with me WITHOUT ID Resolver, I think it's the new IDs I chose for the Lion King mod I installed that caused it to not like itself. Was hoping ID Resolver would fix it, but I guess not.
I do have a fix for this, though, but it's a pain. EVERY TIME before you launch the game, go into redpower conflicts and change "autoassign" to 1. You have to do this EVERY TIME. And even then, I'm still having problems - Ruby Pickaxe crafting recipe thinks it is black paint. Still, better than not using redpower at all...
Don't use this mod with pixelmon mod, it has it's own healthbars anyways. The mobs from pixelmon do not use the standard mob system in place and can not be compatible.
So because one mob type in my game has it's own healthbar, I shouldn't mind not using a healthbar system for all the other mobs?
I have so many mobs. Because I have so many mods. So many. :B

I think that's what was going on, anyway.

This isn't a problem with Minecraft, this is a problem with your son's friends.

Happening to me too. Except when I throw a pixelmon, which crashes it.
and the trainers work fine

I wonder what it's conflicting with? I do have 71 other mods, after all...

Has this problem been reported before?
