Anything else you want me to know? Quick question: Are mob traps and item farms allowed? Also, can I protect my buildings and stuff on this server or can you rollback griefing? Also I want to mention that I don't mind being pranked and whatnot, I'm a good sport

For some reason it I'm not white-listed when I try to log onto the server. I tried adding the server and using direct connect. Not a big deal, ill try again later

Edit: I'm on now, thanks for taking care of it. Looks like a nice vanilla server

Actually, the desert hills biome can occasionally generate stuff like that. Not quite as dramatic, but still pretty crazy. I've seen a couple seeds like it in 1.3.2, but they weren't what I was looking for. And thanks to you guys who are looking for me , let me know if you find anything cool.

Thanks for keeping this thread going, OP. I really want to see seeds become unique again.

I know it doesn't sound like much, but if someone can find me a really good seed that I'm looking for, I'll do a favor for them. Maybe you are looking for a certain type of seed yourself, or need help on your minecraft server, or need me to do some sh**cash surveys so you can make some money online, or whatever. If you get me a good enough seed, I'll return the favor.

I'm looking for a seed with a desert hills biome that has floating islands/overhangs and cool formations in general. Here is an example picture of what I'm looking for, except in desert form: http://i51.tinypic.com/2l8eyya.png

Obviously desert hills don't get that dramatic, but you get the idea. I've seen a couple threads with these but I haven't found one I liked. If you get me a very good seed like this, I'll do a lot of work for you in return, whatever you may need. I'll only return the favor to the person who gives me the seed I choose to use, though, so only one person. I know this isn't exactly equal compensation for most people but I think it adds a little incentive at least.


Also, please don't tell me where anything is in the seed (I don't want any advantages, I consider it cheating , just post the seed and a picture of it if you don't mind).

Hey, I'm looking for a seed with any biome other than extreme hills thats has cool overhangs and floating mountains in general. I know the desert hill biome has a chance to have pretty crazy floating mountains, so if anyone has something like that I would really appreciate it.

The chance to find a desert well is definitely not 1/1000 deserts, maybe 1/1000 blocks within a desert. They're not rare anymore, and this is a waste of a thread, plain and simple. "Omgzz guyz look I found something completely normall that every1 has seen b4!!!" <---that's you

I'm cool with beaches as they were coming back, but don't ever use real life as evidence for a change in Minecraft being a good one. Adding in something to Minecraft simply because it's "realistic" is a terrible idea. The only criterion should ultimately be the fun factor, so unless a suggestion has a big fun factor AND is realistic, then it's not worth the time. Still a pretty good idea, I guess, but the real life vs. minecraft pictures are missing the point.

5. Redstone detectors. Blocks that release a redstone signal when they detect things like water, players, blocks, or if it was day or night.

I'm guessing you want a block that does what a bud switch does? I think that's kind of lame, the fact that you have to use a sophisticated solution for detecting changes as of now is cool in my opinion
